Ripper and Fard half-ran, half-stumbled past them and just as Stank also ran out into the corridor, Bleujay flung her leg out and tripped him and he tumbled headlong onto the floor! Quickly moving forward, Bleujay jumped on top of him, holding the point of her dagger under his chin!

Commander Galligan dashed down the corridor and into the still smokey air outside of the sail room…
“What’s happened?!” He asked, cocking his pistol hammer quickly.
“Fower pirates waur hidin' in th' sail room Sairrr! Thee hav escaped, one is deid an' thes bludy dobber is uir prisoner!” Commanmder Kerrislravenhill said as she quickly got up.
Galligan quickly surveyed the situation, his eyes falling on Junior Petty Officer Tamaralovelace…
“Yoor woonded Lass?!” He said in a worrying tone.
“Aw’ fur th' glory o’ th' crew Sairrr!” She said bravely, holding her arm.
Galligan and Kerrislravenhill gently pulled her to her feet...
“Can ye donner Tamara?” Galligan asked.
“Och aye, let’s dae raise a pint eh?!” She replied with a grin.

Ripper, Fard and Stank ran up the galley stairs and peaked out onto the main deck. With no one to be seen they dashed over to the bridge stairs and made their way up quietly. There, looking east, stood Lieutenant Ironshield and Able Seamen Lupega, and Trayan.
Quickly pulling out his dagger, Ripper moved behind Lupega and put the sharp edge of the blade to the front of his neck…
”Drop your weapons sailors or this one’s a dead man!”
Ironshield turned around quickly and with wide eyes glared at the pirates!
“Yoo’ll ne'er get awa’ wi' thes!” He yelled.
“Do as I say if you want your companion to live!” Ripper replied in a desperate tone.
Ironshield turned towards Trayan and nodded as they both dropped their muskets to the deck...

Daggers are complicated weapons
One should be quite proficient in the handling of such if ever used as a weapon....to be sure!
Knife throwing is skill requiring constant practice.
Throwing Kunai, folding Kershaw knife, Norman Bate's special, and my trusty throwing axe!
What about your Yari Spear?
At 60 inches it's still a ranged weapon, best used topside like repelling boarders rather than in the confines below decks. Below decks I'd turn to my 30 inch Wakazashi sword rather than my Fluffy, my 40 inch battle Katana.
I don't know much about weapons, but you guys have quite a bit of knowledge, very well, let's keep browsing.

I just wrote this, look ......(Hi @trumpman ,If you have read the story, I am in danger, I suppose you will help me, maybe you will risk your life to save me, well I DON'T think so hahaha)..........But I can count on you @kerrislravenhill , you have determination, character, the stowaway is in trouble, he DOESN'T know who he's facing, your beautiful face will distract him and that's when YOU will save me.
That's why I'm the Commander. I am not just in service for the country but looking after the welfare of the crew.

I was once in a similar situation, some guys approached me, they wanted to rob me and I had nothing but some documents, a little money, what I did was tell GOD whatever you want, these guys let me go, one of them tells me, you can go, You don't have much that's of use to us, I walked away from there quickly, GOD protects me, I always trust in him
