Fast Food. Fast Fashion. Fast Love.

Haven't posted in a while, but I find these spontaneous blog posts almost like a diary post for what's ticking in my mind!

Shall we talk about Modern day society?
I'm pretty old school when it comes to most things in life, and not that fake old school which people find a fantasy and pretend to be into. The real old school.

What the f**k happened!? When did we reduce our life experiences to the quickest route possible?

Let's take fashion. It's so cheap you can literally afford to throw it away after a day... convenient, not viable for the future?

Food... thousands of outlets which give you a hot meal in under 5 mins. If it doesn't arrive we have the audacity to get angry over the wait time!? Fuel for our precious bodies, reduced to nothing but time!

Love. We swipe, judge on looks and a 2 line bio... this is what we reduce another human too. "Ew he's wearing this in his pic, swipe!" Another human being. A potential life partner. Gone in 0.5 seconds. Not as bad as the couple on the sofa, on their phones, lusting over photos of others on a screen, putting energy into "reacting" to a post. Instead of putting energy into that other human being who is giving you a part of their precious, short life!

Personally I hate it all! I want meaning, substance and a deeper routed existence. I'm absolutely terrified of society, and where it's heading! Social media has actually caused me trauma. My outlook on life has gone from optimism, to pessimist within a short few months because of a rude awakening to reality!

Anyone else feel like this?
