Sopaka was a youth born during the time of Buddha. His father died when he was very young. Then mother married to another man. Unfortunately step-father of Sopaka was a cruel one. He brought Sopaka to a grave yard at night and tied him to a dead body and went away. Lord Buddha saw this and survived this little son from the danger and allowed him to be member of the Sanga Society due to the endless kindness of him.
