Taking a break from the daily grind and decided to head to the southern-tier of New York. Just a couple days in the country makes all the difference for me. It is a time of relaxing with my cousins, visiting local shops and this trip ..... a Christmas party at a local Salon.
My cousin Brenda gets her hair done here and it was their Christmas party for the customers. I got to tag along and enjoy the festivities. The Apple-Caramel Mimosa was outstanding, and had quite the kick too! We got to enjoy a hot wax dip for the hands, followed by a Stress Free Essential Oil hand massage. In the next room, I had my eyebrows waxed while my cousin got to have her make-up done.... all these services on the house for loyal customers. Since I was visiting I also got to enjoy the fun!
I booked a hair appointment for the following morning and well, all I can say is I had a lot of fun with Lisa who is the owner of Senn-sations Salon in Randolf, NY. She even added a few purple and blue strands of color to the front of my hair. That is a huge step outside of the normal for me, but oh so fun!
It was such a great time to visit with my family and get to enjoy a day out for the girls too!
