Sending satellites and other gadgets on space is very expensive. All this is done be spacecraft. Cost of each satellite sending is in millions of dollars. A major part of expenses is of fuel.

China started a project of a Space elevator. The Elevator should be strong and lightweight. That is why scientist thought carbon nanotubes will be perfect. But carbons nanotubes should be arranged in the right order for strong its strength. If arrange will not correct then it will half the strength. Space Elevator idea comes because, as early describe the cost of spacecraft is so much. By this elevator the cost will reduce.

Estimated that this project will be completed in 2035. It will also help the transportation of people to other planets. Because resources on this Earth are limited. People next future is not limited to this planet only. So this is also an aim of this project.
