El dibujo está hecho en tres momentos muy diferentes: la plancha para grabado, la realicé en 2008, en Aachen (Alemania); el boceto del tullido en lápiz en 2013, un domingo cualquiera en Madrid; la acuarela y la unión de las dos piezas no se ha dado hasta ahora.
El mensaje del resultado final lo dejo a la interpretación de cada uno. Sin embargo, en este extraño proceso es donde se esconde el verdadero significado:
Hay capítulos, en los que nos sumergimos, en los que interpretamos una historia diferente. Intensa y estática a la vez. Son las etapas de nuestras vidas, tan diversas, que parecen vividas por otras personas.
Cuando recordamos cada uno de estos intervalos, nos cuesta darles continuidad y nos planteamos dónde está la esencia; cuál es el hilo que lo cose todo.
A veces, un detalle tan pequeño como este pequeño dibujo se hace tan grande que es capaz de abrazar tu vida entera. Abre la boca y se la traga, para digerirla y vomitar la respuesta.

"The drawing is made in three different moments: the engraved base, did it in 2008, in Aachen (Germany); the sketch of the crippled in 2013, any given Sunday in Madrid; watercolor and the union of the two parts it's made a cupples days ago.
I leave the message of the final result to each one interpretation. However, in this strange process is where the true meaning hides:
There are chapters, in which we are inmersed, in which we play a different story. Intense and static at the same time. They are the stages of our lives, so different between them, that seem lived by different people.
When we remember each of these intervals, it is difficult to us to see the continuity and we ask to ourselves where is the essence; What is the thread that it sews everything.
Sometimes a detail as small as this little drawing becomes so great that it is able to embrace your whole life. It opens his mouth and swallows it, digest it and vomit the response."

I was in art school, and we had all these random classes. We'd listen to a lot of Bollywood. I'd listen to Spanish music - and I don't even speak Spanish, but Hector Lavoe is amazing - we listened to French music like Edith Piaf. She's tight.
