Somos unos cobardes, y quien diga lo contrario miente.
Preferimos cruzar en rojo y sin mirar, que arriesgarnos con alguien que nos gusta.
¿Qué les vamos a decir a nuestros hijos? ¿Que éramos los que le temían al amor por algunas heridas que nos hicieron?
¿Que preferíamos despedirnos del amor de nuestra vida, antes que luchar por mantenerlo ahí?
Somos la generación que deja en visto para parecer más difícil y que hace que la busques, porque si no, “no le interesas”.
Somos el polvo de un viernes por la noche y el “no te vuelvo a hablar” del sábado por la mañana, porque “ya me he acostado contigo”.
Que nos fijamos antes en un maldito físico que en una mente, y así nos va.
De boca contra el suelo en lugar de con otras.
Somos unos cobardes porque nos da miedo sentir. Por si después duele.
Pero maldición, ¿y si no?
Somos de decir “Lo que suceda” pero no hacemos que funcione.
Somos de buscar excusas antes que días para vernos.
Somos de echar de menos los domingos pero mejor no decirlo porque nuestro maldito orgullo es más grande.
Somos de ir de cama en cama, porque el hecho de levantarnos todos los días en la misma nos da un pánico que te cagas.
Somos la generación que no se atreve a creer en el amor pero por la noche, quiere a alguien abrazándote el corazón.
Pero que no apriete muy fuerte,
que eso de las ataduras no es lo nuestro,
no vaya a ser que alguien nos quiera mantener en su vida para siempre
y nosotros
solo queramos pasar el rato.
