La situación crítica que vive Venezuela no solo te obliga a separarte de familiares y amigos, también te obliga a separarte de mascotas, dejándolos atrás con un dolor insoportable en el pecho ante una falsa promesa de "volveré". Esta publicación en especial la dedicaré a mi pequeño perro, Stitch, pues seguramente será a quién más me duela dejar. Durante meses he luchado contra esta terrible idea ya que lo veo como alguien más de la familia, un pequeño niño al que hay que alimentar, cuidar y sobre todas las cosas, amar, pero la situación cada vez empeora y las posibilidades de llevarlo conmigo fuera del país se hacen mínimas. Quizás a último momento surja un milagro y pueda llevármelo conmigo, pero hasta el momento, los vientos que soplan señalan
que tendré que dejarlo en cuidados de alguien más y esto, gente de Steemit, es algo que me parte el alma pues a este pequeño perrito tremendo que a veces parece un conejo al saltar por todos lados, se ha ganado enterito mi corazón. Lo amo, así de simple, y me cuesta imaginar una vida sin él estando presente, moviendo la colita cada vez que me ve llegar, acurrucándose a mí cuando es la hora de dormir y animándome cuando las lágrimas me deciden atacar.
Él es chiquito y siento que siempre tendrá la mentalidad de un niño. Es un mini poodle y es tremendísimo, y presiento que es culpa del nombre que le pusimos pues hace desastre como el Stitch de la película. Brinca alto, se para en dos patas y tiene la extraña manía de comerse mis pantaletas. Le gusta que le den muchísimo cariño, se acurra fácil a las personas y entrega infinito amor. A veces es busca pleito con otros perros, pero él solo ladra y no muerde. Adora estar acompañado, detesta la soledad, y creo que eso se debe a que desde que era un cachorro, lo ponía a dormir conmigo para que sintiese que alguien lo quería hasta el infinito y más allá. ¿Cómo harás, pequeño, cuando te des cuenta que no volveré? Mi alma se parte en mil pedazos al imaginarlo. No quiero dejarte atrás.
Al principio ese perrito era muy molesto, lo admito, pero me encariñe con esa ratita (se que odias que lo llame así, pero es por cariño).
Ciertamente es muy duro dejar atrás a seres queridos. Y eso engloba a las mascotas.
