Esta semana hicimos un pacto de amigas mi sobrina y yo con clausulas y firmado en papel, un contrato del cual no nos podíamos zafar jajajaja. consistía en escalar durante la semana los peldaños de actividades como tareas y ordenar los juguetes en su caso y jugar un rato cada día en mi caso, ambas teníamos que sacar tiempo para todas las actividades diarias … así logramos tener una rutina mas clara en donde pudimos despertarnos mas tempano y asignar horarios para las comidas y deberes. Llegamos al fin de semana y decidí que la recompensa por tan buen trabajo seria una “Fiesta de Pijama”.
This week my niece and I made a frien's pact with clauses and we signed it on paper, a contract from which we could not get out hahaha. Consisted on climbing during the week the steps of activities such as homework and puting toys back on hit's place and play a while each day in my case, we both had to take time for all daily activities ... So we managed to have a clearer routine where we could wake up more earlier and make time for meals and homework. We made it to the weekend and I decided to reward her for her good work by having a "Pajama Party ".
No puedo explicar la emoción que se relajaba en el rostro de Amelia, durante todo el día estuvo organizando todo, las películas que veríamos, la música, decoración y comida; yo solo la veía ir y venir dando saltitos desde la habitación de sus padres hasta la cocina y las demás habitaciones buscando cientos de cosas. Una vez listo todo entre de su mano al “Cine” con los ojos vendados para tener el efecto sorpresa y debo decir que fue maravilloso encontrarme con tanto detalle, amor y creatividad que Amelia había dispuesto en cada lugar, demostrándome así su esmero y dedicación para hacer todo lo que se propone pero mas allá de eso lo que mas resaltaba era su enorme sonrisa y el brillo de sus ojos, eso me enterneció el Corazón y me recalcó aun mas la importancia de jugar y hacer actividades con nuestros niños, mas aun en estos tiempos de confinamiento en donde niños como Amelia tienen mas de 3 meses que no salen de sus casas, no andan en bici ni van al parque a jugar.
I can't explain the emotion on Amelia's face, all day long she was organizing everything, the movies we would watch, the music, decorations and food; I just saw her hopping back and forth from her parents' room to the kitchen and the other rooms looking for hundreds of things. Once everything was ready, I entered the "Cinema" blindfolded to have the surprise effect and I must say that it was wonderful to meet with so much detail, love and creativity that Amelia had arranged in each place, showing me her care and dedication to do everything she set out to do but beyond that what stood out most was her huge smile and the sparkle in her eyes, That touched my heart and made me even more aware of the importance of playing and doing activities with our children, even more so in these times of confinement where children like Amelia are more than 3 months old and don't leave their homes, don't ride their bikes and don't go to the park to play.
Todos los días tratamos de hacer algo diferente, sinceramente en esta cuarentena en mi casa se ha sido de todo, desde cantantes, entrevistadores, publico, villanos, superhéroes, payasos, bailarines, chefs, fotografiaros y algunas veces hasta la limpieza lo hemos tenido que reexpresar para volverlo divertido ; todo en pro de mantener la estabilidad emocional de nuestra niña, conservar esa alegría y energía que siempre tiene y hacerle saber que aunque estos tiempos son extraños y difíciles siempre podemos sacar lo bueno ,mantenernos positivos, esperanzados y ¿por que no? hacerlos divertidos por ellos.
*Every day we try to do something different, honestly in this quarantine in my house we have all been everything from singers, interviewers, public, villains, superheroes, clowns, dancers, chefs, photographers and sometimes even when we clean we have had to convert it to make it fun, all in favor of maintaining the emotional stability of our child, keep that joy and energy that always has and let him know that although these times are strange and difficult we can always get the good, stay positive, hopeful and why not? Make them fun for them. *

Que bonita la relación que tienes con tu sobrina y es importante generar estos espacios, donde ella desarrolle su creatividad, como lo hizo al organizar la pijamada. Que bonito todo, yo también me habría emocionado con los detalles de Amelia
