--Until I find you, Isis," the unknown voice caught Mery's attention immediately. "What are you doing here?" I exclaim in a calm but firm tone.
Isis, that was the name of that woman, imposing as the night itself, and mysterious as the forces that move this world. Some questions disappeared in Mery's head, but new ones were formed, "Who is this new woman? Her white skin was illuminated by the faint rays of the sun that came through the window. Only her blue eyes could be seen more clearly, for the light was not enough to illuminate the whole room. Beautiful and delicate as an angel, it was not she who disturbed Mery, but the redheaded girl with curly hair standing a few steps away from the woman; for she gave off a surreal appearance.
--Hasta que te encuentro, Isis -la voz desconocida atrapo la atención de Mery inmediatamente- ¿Qué haces aquí?-exclamo en tono calmado pero firme.
Isis, así se llamaba aquella mujer imponente como la noche misma, y misteriosa como las fuerzas que mueven este mundo. Algunas preguntas desaparecían en la cabeza de Mery, pero otras nuevas se formaban, « ¿quién es esta nueva mujer?». Su piel blanca era iluminada por los tenues rayos del sol que atravesaban la ventana. Solo se lograba ver con mayor claridad sus ojos azules, ya que, la luz no era suficiente para iluminar la habitación completa. Bella y delicada como un ángel, no era ella quien inquietaba a Mery, sino la niña pelirroja de cabellos rizados parada a unos pasos de la mujer; pues esta desprendía una apariencia surreal.
-Now your job seems to be following me around, when it should be saving souls, my dear.
-And your job is not to talk to humans," answered the white woman calmly, "why did you let yourself be seen?
-I didn't know that she could see me," Isis replied angrily, "how could I imagine that she wasn't baptized? Look at her! She is big.
-Don't lie! The absence of a guardian angel indicates that she is not baptized," I exclaimed, "therefore she can see us!
-Well, I was just curious, didn't you feel it? Knowing you, I guess so. Nella, the most compassionate Angel of all - I express Isis, outlining a little laugh
Mery was just a spectator of this conversation, as she thought "Saving lives? Could it possibly be angels?"
-Ahora tu trabajo parece ser seguirme a todos lados, cuando debería ser salvar almas, querida.- el tono de fastidio en la voz de Isis era notable.
-Y tu trabajo no es hablar con humanos- respondió serenamente la blanca mujer- ¿por qué te has dejado ver?
-No sabía que podía verme -refuto con fastidio Isis- ¿cómo imaginar que no estaba bautizada? ¡Mírala! Es grande.
-¡No mientas! ¡La ausencia de un ángel guardián indica que no está bautizada -exclamo- por lo tanto puede vernos!
-Bueno, solo tuve curiosidad, ¿tú no la sentiste? Conociéndote, me imagino que sí. Nella, el Ángel más compasivo de todos – expreso Isis, esbozando una pequeña risa.
Mery solo era espectadora de esta conversación, mientras pensaba « ¿Salvar vidas? ¿Podía ser posible que fueran ángeles?».
