[Hae-Joo] Applications and Limitations of Energy - How the Wise One Learns to Master Energy

in #spirituality6 years ago

At any given time we only have a certain amount of energy at our disposal...

We are told that energy is never created, nor destroyed, only transferred from one state to another. This may or may not be true, but what is true, is that no matter the Nature of Energy in this Universe, at any given point, we do not have full access to the entire amount of energy. Everyday, we are only allocated a certain amount of Energy.

Yet There is a Way to Always Have Energy for Everything

Uruhara sann.gif

We receive Energy from various sources in life, and in different forms. Some energy is physical, and comes from the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, the sunlight we absorb...

Some energy is psychic, or etheric... We receive this energy from other sentient beings, in the form of exchanges: physical, verbal, social, emotional, intellectual... This kind of energy can be a tremendous source of strength when we feel weak... Displays of affection, hugs, kisses, caresses... These all have a healing and nurturing effect upon our body and mind... So they should not be neglected... Same with fascinating conversations, that lead to expansive thoughts and states of empathy, mutual-understanding and appreciation...

Incredibly energizing...

The last source of Energy, and I think it is the most underutilized and under-tapped that we possess... Because it is actually so powerful, most of us do not know how to wield this energy successfully... When we open this source of energy, we can get incredible boosts of energy, strength, vitality, vigor, that can help us achieve almost anything... But this source of energy is like turbo-juice... If we do not pace it, and use it at the appropriate times, we waste it and then we get burned-out, and feel incredibly dry and sucked out... And it takes a while for this special energy to recharge and fill back up...

Kundalini...

Ichigo_vs_byakuya.gif

This Last Source of Energy, we generally used to call Will Power. But it is in reality Spiritual Energy, or Kundalini Energy... It is a secret source of Energy that is locked up at the base of the spine, and can be unlocked to give us huge bursts of Energy throughout the day... but when it starts to burst out, if we do not wield it appropriately, it will cause out to spin out of control and drain all of our chakra centers of all their energy...

Really, Kundalini energy is like the Nitrous Oxide in our Physical and Mental Vehicle we call the Mind-Body... We can think of the physical sources of energy as the gasoline we need to increase the acceleration, and we can think of all of the etheric sources of energy as the oil that greases up the engine, which corresponds to the tuning and conditioning of the car, which allow for smooth handling of the vehicle...

The Kundalini however; that is our secret boost button that can help us power through difficult situations and circumstances, and perform at incredibly high levels... But if we engage our Kundalini, and we're in the middle of a turn, and we don't know which way we're going... We're likely to have to hit the breaks and waste our boost, lest we just crash into a wall, or conversely, deplete all of our Kundalini going in the wrong direction, and have to backtrack because we took a wrong turn... Once we've depleted our reserve of Kundalini energy, our Mind-Body can barely go at 50% of it's regular capacity, if it's able to move at all... So it must be used wisely and with great degree of caution...

So when is it appropriate to engage Kundalini Energy?

First of all, we must only use our Kundalini Energy to accomplish tasks and objectives that we ordinarily would not have the energy, motivation, strength or discipline to perform... When you realize there is an opportunity to do something that will greatly improve your life or move you closer to your goals, and you come across this state of consciousness: "Oh my Gosh... I don't have the energy for this... I can't be bothered... I'll do it tomorrow when I have more energy..." - This is the time to engage the Spiritual/Kundalini/Will-Power source of Energy...

How does one engage the Kundalini switch?

First, we must compose and collect ourselves...

tumblr_muirpzlBeG1sif5mko1_500.gif

We must quiet the mind, and take a few short moments to power down our machine... We must "meditate", or simply put, wind down all of the Energy dispersing activities and energy-consuming mental and physical activities draining our chakras...

Then, once we are composed, and in a relaxed, non-judgmental state of being, we must focus on the task that we must accomplish... We must look at it in terms of the entire process, where is the starting point, what are the various accomplishable steps that make up the achievable goal, and where is the end point...

Because even though Kundalini is infinite in nature, there is a threshold of how much we can hold at any given point... What I mean is that it does replenish naturally and automatically, because it comes from the spiritual realm... But even though it will recharge automatically, if we waste it by triggering it and then moving in the wrong direction, we will have fucked up our whole energy for the day, possibly couple days...

So it is very important that we use the Kundalini to perform a specific task, and to make sure that when we are engaged in Kundalini-drive only when we are completely focused on completing the difficult and energy-taxing task at hand...

So once we are sure we have figured out what it is we need or desire to achieve, and we see exactly where the process starts and ends, and we are confident we that it is indeed possible to accomplish it...

We activate the ignition of Kundalini like so: with a powerful and decisive affirmation and intention... You ignite the Fire in your Soul, where you tell yourself, no matter what happens, no matter what anyone has to say, whatever attempts at self-sabotage or other people distracting or trying to thwart us...

We are going to do this...

Activate your Kundalini...

giphy.gif

In this State, you feel that anything is possible... You get a surge of Energy that feels like a Rush... Hot, bubbly, Divine Energy courses through your veins, and flows through every cell of your body...

In this State, you are unstoppable... You can achieve absolutely anything that you just set your mind to. When you're in this State, do not hold yourself back... Just dash forward towards your goals... No breaks, no pauses, no distractions... Just do, do, do, do, do...

If you learn to pace yourself while in this State, you can actually maintain it for a significant portion of your day... Every time you feel your Will or Resolve or Energy Levels weakening or dropping... You give yourself a Kundalini boost...

The trick is to always use Kundalini towards your goals... Then, as your last burst of Kundalini is wearing off, your Kundalini store has already recharged a little bit, and you can give yourself another boost...

This is the incredible power of Kundalini Energy, or Spiritual, Divine Energy....

AKA WILL POWER

tumblr_mwgx4weYtN1sx1kcjo1_500 (1).gif

We all have this power inside of ourselves... This is the Energy that highly successful, highly prolific individuals tap into... And they can do this for years, without burning out, because they have learned how to pace themselves...

Take achieving a goal like dropping 200lbs of body fat, or quitting cigarettes after being a smoker for years, or achieving a creative process, doing a professional project that's going to get paid lots of money, pushing our body to its limits with physical exercise...

What ever high stress, very energy-intensive effort task/goal/project we want to engage in, we will be thousands of times more likely of achieving our ends if we learn how to tap into Kundalini Energy...

Relying on Physical and Etheric Energy for these tasks can lead to us feeling weak, or like we do not have enough Energy to accomplish these tasks... In order to really do them, we need to be Fired Up...

And this takes place on the Soul Level.

Henry Ford.png

So here are a few more thoughts about Energy, specifically regarding physical and etheric energy.

First of all, Kundalini Energy is no substitute for these two forms of Energy...

That would be like trying to drive a car in a drag race that has no gas, no oil, parts that haven't been checked in years, and the only functional part of the car is the Nitrous Oxide... Are you crazy? You will blow your Turbo in 5 seconds, to say nothing of the fact that your car won't actually go anywhere...

So how do we keep a balance between our Physical, Etheric, and Kundalini levels of Energy?

I'm calling it being a Progressive Energy Conservationist.

Progressive because we decide that we are going to use our energies constructively throughout the day, to complete tasks, achieve goals, fulfill obligations, meet expectations, perform at optimal levels... Right?

Conservationist because we decide that we're not going to waste our energies... If we feel like we don't have enough energy to do something, then we're not going to distract ourselves, or disperse our energies on random, unrelated, meaningless things... We're going to actively seek out to recharge our physical levels (eat a healthy meal, drink water or tea, stretch and breathe, right?) and our etheric levels (motivate ourselves, nurture ourselves, call our bff for some friendly advice, a little pep talk, or just to nurture and nourish each other emotionally)...

Because physical and etheric energy do not automatically replenish... We have to do things to replenish these... We have to actually see people, and give them love and affection, and we have to actually hit the kitchen, and cook ourselves meals, or make ourselves green teas or buckwheat teas, right? We have to do that, and we should be mindful when we are low of energy that it might be time to refuel up our physical and etheric gauges (really, think of physical energy as Gasoline or Diesel for your car's tank, and etheric as Oil to grease the Motor and make sure the car runs smoothly)

If we make sure to measure and gauge our physical and etheric levels of energy throughout the day, and make sure to adequately fuel and tune-up, then we know that with little bursts of Kundalini Turbo Juice, we will have dynamic and even explosive levels of Energy all throughout the day to achieve anything we set our minds to.

Final thoughts:

One thing that I've experimented a lot with in the last few years is "Negative Effort"

Or as I've come to understand this kind of misguided energy usage, beating ourselves up for not being a certain way.

This kind of Negatively Charged Energy actually does nothing for ourselves except drain us of all of our different energies... Think of Negatively Charged Energy as driving a stickshift, and you're just flooring it trying to go 0 to 60 in 3.5, and you're not even hitting the clutch and switching gears... This is bullshit and will lead to the car getting completely fucked up very quickly as we put incredible strain on the motor and burnout...

This is probably of the biggest and most common energy drains people experience in society, is wanting to be like something that we are currently not, putting all of our energy in being something that we're not, and lamenting ourselves and feeling miserly when we fail, usually over and over again making the same damn decisions.

It's not really our fault... Society conditions us to be this way through all the schooling, media, ideologies, parents, etc...

This is the way that our Ego and Shadow can play these elaborate mental tricks on ourselves that work in an anti-symbiotic manner with our body... It is the result of socially-inculcated ignorance, confusion, muddled thinking, etc...

For as much as Will Power / Kundalini Energy is an incredibly Dynamic, Self-Generating, Supercharged source of Inner Power and Energy, it really cannot be activated to do the impossible... Like I mentioned above, try getting out of bed and achieving everything and doing everything in the first hour, no amount of Kundalini Energy can do that...

We'll completely burn out too soon and have no energy source for the rest of the day...

It's best to ease in to the day... If we are fasted, we can simply turn to water and air for energy in the early hours... If we need to eat, we should eat to fuel up... Listen to a couple songs, do a yoga-meditation with some binaural beats... Something to get our Etheric Energies up...

And then, when we're ready, we're were sufficiently conditioned, and ready to actually do something, to make that effort...

Rev up that Kundalini Power and GO FOR IT!

Lol I wish

I really appreciated this post, @impunity because it has explained kundalini energy in an easy to digest manner. Normally it seems, people like to make it sound terribly esoteric and hard to grasp.
I now know that I have used my kundalini power often and without even knowing it. Ha! who'd have thought. Many thanks HJ ;)
p.s. Does anyone ever call you Jude?

Hey @ricia!
As always thank you for your wonderful comment!! 😍

I'm glad you appreciated it! Yeah, honestly I struggled for a long time understanding what in the heck Kundalini was, how to activate it, how to feel its effects, what it actually is...

When I first learned that chakras where undoubtedly a factual aspect of reality as present in our lives as love and fear; invisible to the naked eye yet having form and effect that clearly impacted our lives, I really wanted to know what was all the hubbub about Kundalini

Now I realize that Kundalini is also real, and doesn't ned to be shrouded in so much mysticism...

I will say this: I think that Kundalini works best when all of the chakras are open... There's different levels to this Spiritual Energy... For example, in a perfect state of blissful harmony, openness and receptiveness, I think Kundalini can cause us to have incredibly powerful psychic and spiritual experiences...

But, in a more practical, every-day sense, I do see it as this reserve of energy that doesn't seem to come from this plane, but definitely comes from the higher realms... It doesn't really come from any one source but rather is pulled from the infinite great "Within"...

It's a dormant energy, one we tap into through volition, intention, desire... It's a much purer form of energy, and can really take us to a different level when we tap into it properly...

The thing is most of us fail to use it, or we don't really know how best to tap into it... That's where the process of meditation and alignment (of the energy centers) allows us to start feeling this secret store that is very easily hidden from our perception... Tapping into it then becomes an intuitive energy work...

But when we hit that pocket of energy, and it starts releasing, we can certainly recognize the incredible high and energy boost it yields... Then if we can focus it into a contemplative, creative or other kind of enterprise, we can go much, much further than we ordinarily would

I think great artists and people who perform incredible feats could not do so without tapping into the "Zone" which is Kundalini Energy flow

Yes - I have definitely been there! You did not answer my question though @impunity. Every time I read your own name, I start to sing the song. It cannot just be me :-)

LOL! Hae-JooD
xD

I thought it was an odd question; sorry it took me so long to see what you did there

^^

To my knowledge, you're the first!!!
But hopefully if this name grows and more people start to come across it, they will share with me the same feeling you've felt! As far as I know, you're the first! ;))

LOL! Are you ever going to start writing your own posts?
Everywhere cool I end up I see you've been there first! You're like a Steemit fairy, dispensing love and recognition where you feel it deserves to be served! I love how thoughtful and considerate all your interactions are with the users (and it really isn't even for me, I see you everywhere where the action is taking place getting involved and making so many positive contributions!)

I wish I had more SP to upvote you with... You do the fantastic curation work that this platform needs to feel like a real, living virtual space for all of us to come together...

Somebody should give you a SP delegation I swear down!

Seriously can't wait til' you start writing about your own interests and passions :)

My dear friend Jood,
I have already refused a kind delegation offer and gave away the sbd I had to others. I have probably reached my destination on my steemit journey. I was only ever interested in exploring and learning. I have met many wonderful people here but have also found that it is essentially just as exploitative in its construction as its real life counterpart. Some are making a sterling effort to change that, but without the agreement of those who hold the power, it seems unlikely. I am sure you will go on to use your brilliant and visionary mind to make it a better user platform and hopefully a place, where bad actors can be blocked if unwilling to reform. :) ~~~~~

Damn. This is probably one of the realest, saddest, deepest, most brutally honest things I've ever read on Steemit. I can't say that I'm surprised or shocked, but boy did this comment read like a sobering bucket of water splashed on your face while you're sleeping...

But I've always had this idea that this is an experiment and nobody knows whether this can work, will work, should work... I think in that sense, maybe it's like society, but like...

You say that we need the agreement of those that hold the power... But I remind myself that we all hold the power...
The illusion of the "Powerful" and the "Powerless" is just that, an illusion...

In reality, we play this game the way we currently play it because we enjoy it this way...

The day we want to play the game differently, we will... So I'm not too worried... I've seen Steem have such a positive impact on so many people's lives... I can hardly say the same about "the real life counterpart" these days...

We're looking for the solutions to our real world problems... I think we will find them... But everyone has a role to play... What one person has to do compared to another may be completely different, but that doesn't mean they do not act as one and move together towards the same destination...

We all have to learn to be ourselves and play our roles

So don't "LEAVE" Us...... :O

I’ve never heard of this type of energy referred to like this... where does it come from? The name “kundalini”...?

Also some of my thoughts on it below:

So once we are sure we have figured out what it is we need or desire to achieve, and we see exactly where the process starts and ends, and we are confident we that it is indeed possible to accomplish it...

I believe that the hardest part before even trying to understand how and when to use this power. Is to determine what it is that it should be used on.

Once someone truly knows what it is they want to be doing then using this type of energy on that specific thing seems like it would come naturally.

Then as you mentioned keeping the balance between physical and etherical (psychological) energy is important. Once this is achieved, in addition to knowing what you want to be doing, then tapping into the so called kundalini energy is possible. And from that point on understanding how it can be used, as you’ve described above, can be incorporated.

Kundalini is the Hindi word, the whole concept is deeply intertwined with Hinduism, and is a part of the whole Chakra understanding of energy in the different bodies... It's really deep and beautiful but I think the concept doesn't really need a labels and names so much as people need to recognize in their life this beautiful and wonderful source of energy...

You're absolutely right... I just simply believe that without having access to a source of real, concrete, powerful energy through out the day I can get easily demoralized or give up on my goals... But it doesn't need to be this way!

The key is being at One with oneself, being aligned with oneself, remembering and projecting where we were and where we want to go, and moving on it in the present moment! Powerful stuff :)

I think the problem with labeling things is people cannot understand determine when that differently labeled thing is actually one and the same as (or at the very least similar to) something they already believe in. And it then creates a divide between them. What’s the difference between the Holy Spirit and this Chakra energy - on a conceptual level. (Question mark omitted as it is intended to be rhetorical). Instead of finding differences in things - people should look for similarities. And if something is different, use it as a learning tool or opportunity to learn.

Just more random thoughts.

Peace.

Good article. We are only merely energy. I use the chakrapoints a lot when practicing EFT.
