This is the last New Moon of 2017! I always get pretty excited for New Moons; it's my time to set in new intentions for the upcoming weeks and release old energies that no longer serving me in my life. This New Moon is quite different, with it being the last of the year, it is quite settling to put forth new energy and intentions for the New Year.
Which makes this New Moon's energy more potent is the current placement of Mercury in Retrograde (MR). I have been quite reflective of all my accomplishments and lessons I had experienced.
In true Sagittarius nature, I opted for my Doreen Virtue Angel Tarot deck for a more lighter energy reading. I created my own spread to uncover what energies that I can expect and can harness to get the most from the upcoming year.

Card 1. What is the message my angels and spirit guides want me to receive from this New Moon?
Eight of Earth
From this card, my angels and spirit guides are showing me that the research and investment I have made to my studies in work, life, and spiritually are and have paid off. I have taken a lot of time away from socializing this year to become more astute in the different projects and topics that have interested me this year. Almost to the point of being stagnant to make a move; nevertheless, the knowledge I have gained will pay off when applied appropriately. Learning and teaching are apart of my Life Path.
Card 2. What is the action to take to accomplish this message's goal?
#17 The Star
My angels and telling me to be optimistic when creating my long-term plans. The future is bright and it is time for me to dream again. The expectations that I have built for myself and my dreams/goals are on fertile soil. I have done the necessary studying and lesson learning that I am now ready to dream, create, and plan it out. This card is also telling me to trust myself as for my intuition has not led me wrong.
In addition, the number eight shows herself again. 1+7=8. The number Eight spiritually resonates with the vibration of abundance, manifesting, solid foundation, and inner-wisdom. It is also associated with the number of Karma. Karma can be good and bad. In this case, I am ready to collect the good Karma for the right works and diligence that I have exemplified this year.
Card 3. What, if any, blockages that need clearing to manifest my goals?
Three of Fire
Immediately I knew what this card meant. PATIENCE! When creating my plan for the next year and beyond, I need to operate in patience. This was a major lesson for me this year. I learned the value of working in seasons; meaning I learned that I do not have to do it all at once. There are a time and season for every action. The number Three also resonated with me as me being mindful of my Mind, Body, and Spirit. While creating my amazing business plans, also make time for Self-care, resting, and receiving. I am an awesome giver, but a lousy receiver. The Universe has humbled me to be open to receivingg.
Card 4. What are other energies the New Moon offering me?
# 4 The Emperor
This card has shown up in several of my reading this year. Again, I know exactly what it is telling me.
Delegate, Delegate, Delegate
This whole year I spent much time healing my inner Divine Masculine energy; in learning self-mastery, I discovered that although I am a natural leader, I found it difficult to delegate tasks that I would take on all the responsibilities and work. This left me burned out by mid-year. This New Moon is offering me room to step into my leadership role in a more organized and logistical fashion. Learning to rust my self, my team, and my intuition to complete and accomplish the goals ahead.
Lastly, I noticed how the two Major Arcana cards were parallel to each other; as if Mirroring each other AND that's when I saw it. My whole year's energy work was summed in this simple yet powerful reading. The balancing of my (8) Divine Feminine and (4) Divine Masculine in full fruition were facing each other. I was out of balance when the year started, but now, I have grown and matured into operating within both parts of myself.
It's time to Dream, trust intuition and makes the necessary logistical and organizational moves to accomplish the goals ahead. I am quite excited about the upcoming year; especially with the upcoming transit of Saturn going home into Capricorn. This will truly be the year of manifesting and accomplishing plans and goals.
