RE: Significant bug, error, or glitch on Splinterlands' Leaderboard

in #splinterlands3 years ago

I'm not worried at all as I know I'm not doing anything wrong, but I wanted to know the basis of your reasons for the objections and throwed accusations.
But, it seems to me that you don't understand the game at all!

I know that you actually started playing just a couple of months ago (in June this year - 2021), but I also know that you've logged into the game for the first time back in October 2018th, since when you are more or less regularly following some other active players who are publishing about the game.
So, having the opportunity for almost full 3 years to learn about the game, I would expect that you know and understand at least some essentials about it. But obviously, it's not the case.

Therefore, let me explain.
Having the minimum required power to officially enter some higher playing league (in my case, Silver, or Gold), it doesn't mean to have the cards at such high level to play and compete in those leagues!

In other words, a player can have over a million in power or even more (I have seen a whole bunch of such players) whose power is actually made up of a whole bunch of duplicate cards, but still not enough of them to upgrade them on a higher level. (Some cards requires couple of hundreds of single cards to be upgraded.)

Furthermore, Silver league allow players to use Summoners at the following max. levels.
Common: lvl 5; Rare: lvl 4; Epic: lvl 3; Legendary: lvl 2.
Those Summoners would allow players to use Monster cards, in overall, at the same levels (Common: lvl 5; Rare: lvl 4; Epic: lvl 3; Legendary: lvl 2).

At the same time, Gold league allow players to use Summoners at the following max levels.
Common: lvl 8; Rare: lvl 6; Epic: lvl 5; Legendary: lvl 3.
Those Summoners would allow players to use Monster cards, in overall, at a bit different levels (Common: lvl 8; Rare: lvl 7; Epic: lvl 5; Legendary: lvl 3).

I have only one Summoner (Delwyn Dragonscale on lvl 4) that would be somewhat useful in Silver league, while all the others are on their maximum for the Bronze league, and miles away from the Gold league. And I don't have a single Monster that exceeds Bronze league maximum.

So, give me just one good reason why I shouldn't play in the Bronze league, except your obvious envy and jealousy, or a failed attempt to get rid of the every better performing competitor who built his deck wisely and with the plan through enormous time investment and with its own hard earned money (like I did build mine)!!!

If you don't have it, give me a brake and leave me alone with your baseless, childish and jealousy complains and accusations, and rather invest your time and energy in learning the game properly!

Sort:

I am aware of what you say, and you are not competition for me, I am simply not at your level, for the simple fact of having much more power, I do not need to insult you to answer you or anything friend, I am not jealous, far from, it It's just not fair, whether you like it or not, I want to get out of bronze to have a better reward of chests, I hope you win a lot of DEC among the first in bronze.

I think that you are wrong. I might be out of your league, but that's certainly not because the amount of power, and you'll figure that out sooner or later if you continue playing. So, the only things according which I might be out of your league are almost full deck of fully upgraded cards for the Bronze league, some playing experience and skill. But, still it doesn't mean I can't loose a battle from you for numerous reasons.

Further more, escaping into a higher league would surely give you more reward chest for your daily quests, but don't be unpleasantly surprised if you'll find in them just whole bunch of potions and couple of DEC here and there.

And last, but not least, if you are not jealous and somewhat angry because of it, you wouldn't leave such a comment under my post as you did, in the first place.
In other words, if you think that something in the game is not fair then I'm certainly not the one to whom you should address that.

I believe, it would be way more constructive and beneficiary for all the players, to go directly to game creators/owners and developers and offer the solution for the things that bother you and which you are finding as unfair.

For instance, I'm planning to suggest them to divide, i.e., current Bronze league into three new leagues each of which would have their own leaderboard. The same rule I would apply to higher leagues (Silver, Gold, Diamond, Champion) too. OK, it would most likely split current reward pool of each league, but so what!?!

In my opinion, new players would be more interested to continue playing, and it would be easier for them to gain some better result, higher place on the leaderboard, and at the same time rewarding score. While in the current setting players playing in Bronze III, Silver III, Gold III, Diamond III or even Champion III, hardly can compete for any end of season reward battling for it with those players in Bronze I, Silver I, Gold I, Diamond I or Champion I.

And I would even dare to bet (judging from frustration that radiates from your comments) that you would like such change! Right?!?

this answer, if it seemed more polite to me, thank you.
It's that you get confused hahaha, I'm not frustrated, I just think it's not fair, and regarding the power of the deck, you have more, because you have more variety of cards and better, with the fact of having cards like KRON THE UNDYING in level 1, you are already far superior, that's what I mean.

No, I'm not confused. Quite the opposite! And your problem with me is that you are very well aware that I didn't buy your words in which you tried to camouflaged your frustration, envy and jealousy, although you don't want to admit it, but with every following reply you are just proving it more and more (if you are aware of it or not).

And now you are again trying to convince me otherwise but just with different words. So, let me remind you. In your first comment you've accused me of doing something that I shouldn't be doing, and you were complaining that's not fair. When I asked you to spell it out, you didn't have to say anything concrete and solid, and you just keep ranting about my bigger deck!

Yes, I have a bigger deck than you do, and I'm also actively playing the game almost a whole year longer than you! And if you think that's not fair, then stop playing the game, because it's not fair for thousands of players bellow you who just arrived couple of days or weeks ago, and to whom your card collection appears unfairly superior!

Did it cross your mind that to those thousands of new players bellow you, your over 12K power appears as almost unreachable amount of power, with the fact that only one card as your BYZANTINE KITTY Summoner at level 1 is, you are already almost unbeatably superior to them?!
Did this cross your mind??? - No, it didn't, because you are observing things only one-sided, and only from one direction.

Did it cross your mind that those thousands of new players will never have a chance to accumulate the power of your current size in the same short time period as you did (without some additional investments)??? As first, because they were not here at the time when Untamed collection wasn't completely sold and when players beside previous collection of Reward cards had a chance to receive those cards too by completing daily quests.
Are you aware of that huge superior advantage that you have in comparison to those players??? - I assume not, as otherwise you wouldn't be complaining around as you do about some unfairness, observing the situation only from the perspective that currently suits you!

Furthermore, did it cross your mind that those thousands of new players bellow you in their one chest that they would get for completing the daily quest (in Bronze III league), and if they are lucky to receive some card in it, will get exactly half amount of power (for the same card type - common, rare, epic or legendary) that you were receiving in previous months???
Why? - Because new Reward cards worth in power half of the power amount of the previous Reward collection. Besides that, the game has been changed in a way that percentage of card appearance in the daily quest chests has been significantly lowered down.
So, those thousands of new players bellow you, as first have a very slim chance to get a card in the chest, and as second if and when they receive it, it would worth half of the power than the Reward cards you were receiving in previous months!
How unfairly superior is that??? How long would it take them to build a deck even just a bit closer to the one you already have???
Did this unfairness of yours and what you are doing in the game, crossed your mind too??? - No, it didn't, because you are too selfishly self-oriented!

Therefore, and to cut the chase, let me tell you that I know what's your main problem and the cause of all your frustrations. You can't forgive yourself that you didn't start playing the game back then in 2018, as if you did now you would most likely have a couple of millions in power, selling your spare cards left and right for enormous amount of money, showing off and playing smart in front of your family and friends, asking "How much does it Caracas or even Venezuela cost?" as you might want to buy it.
But, you didn't start playing in 2018 and now you are kicking your ass trying to blame who ever and for what so ever, ranting around about some unfairness or similar.

So, once again stop bothering me with your baseless complaints, selfish, only self-oriented, childish and jealousy rants and similar ungrounded lamentations, and leave me alone!!!

And regarding your aim to get out from the Bronze league as soon as possible, I can tell you that I'm also hardly waiting for that, as only then you would be able to realize (although, probably too stubborn to admit) how hard it is to play in higher leagues and complete the daily quest to receive those few chests more, half of which would be full of potions, while your capture rate will be almost entirely drained on the way what would accordingly significantly lower down your DEC earning per won battle, and not to even mention that exceeding your current longest strake (13) you may entirely forget.
So, to conclude, I wouldn't be surprised at all seeing you running back into the Bronze league sooner than you can even imagine!

I believe that the resentful and all that is your friend hahaha.

You know that it is not fair, and in fact if you win a lot with only that card of the cat, and easily overcome the bronze barrier 1, recently I rented some tastings and played a day in the silver league 3, the truth I did not see a difference.

There are very cool diamond players, the problem is surely that in silver 1 they do the same as you do in bronze 1, does it seem fair to you in that case? also you are assuming that the words you read from me were in an annoying tone, as in which you express yourself, and it is not like that.

I am a low-income person, and the truth is, I am very grateful to hive and Splinterlands, they have helped me a lot and I am growing little by little, without resentments, I hope you do very well.

lol - You say that you are not resentful. How do you call then your complains about the game unfairness??? - Do you even listen and hear yourself???!!!
(Not to mention that you are addressing those complains to the people, like me, who didn't create the rules.)
And you say that you are grateful to Splinterlands, but you still complain that the game is not fair???!!!
So, we go again - do you even listen and hear yourself?!?!

You are truly pathetic!

And now seriously!

Leave me alone and STOP TROLLING ME!!!

If not, I promise you that every following comment you leave will be downvoted!

You already bored me with your insults and your desire to argue.
