Good night hivers. This is my pixel art version of the card Angel of Light from the Life Splinter. I've been working on this on and off for six days now, I probably have +40 hours of work poured into this one.
I took some pictures at the end of every day of drawing, so I could upload it here. I wanted to make a pixel art version of Daria Dragonscale but I guess I wasn't inspired enough, so I went for the Angel of Light, I think it came out great, what do you think? please leave a comment about it ^^.
First, I drew the overall body form and her stance. I loved the way her hair came out too. I used an orange color to sketch the temporary figure.
At first I was going to draw her a short skirt but then decided to drew a longer one with a lot of shadows.
At the end of day two, I had half a wing drawn and a full body sketch.
On the third day I drew the right wing and her face (her face was so incredibly hard for me, it took me so many hours to get it right...)

On the fourth day I started blending in the details and colors, removing the orange guide lines I made when I sketched her out.
On day 5, I finished drawing the wings and her legs.
On the sixth day (today), I drew a background for the angel and then added a soft light layer in the direction her face is looking at
And then I combined both, the angel and the background.
This is the angel's final drawing without the background.
This was so time consuming but I love it, I think it came out beautiful...
