The Meredrool continues to spread across Praetoria.

While Battle Mages continue competing in the first Escalation Conflict, it's already time to prepare for the next chapter of the war effort.

Each Archon brings new possibilities.

And every Battle Mage has the opportunity to earn them through the war effort.

🕛 Points begin accumulating on June 22, 2026, at 12 PM EST / 4 PM UTC.

📖 Lore

Ghezira's warband roams the Drybone Badlands like a brushfire. Anyone crossing her territory pays tribute in goods, flesh, or blood. She's not particular.

She rose through the chaos of the Drybone Anarchists the only way anyone rises. Violence. Her laughter cuts through battle, high and whooping, and it spreads like a fever. Those who ride with her throw themselves into the fray without hesitation or restraint, swinging steel and slinging spells with wild, mad cackles, just as likely to hit their own allies as the enemy.

When the Conclave Arcana pushed into the Wild Northeast, Ghezira saw opportunity. More caravans, more supplies, more bodies carrying things worth taking. She hit a conclave surveyor camp, killed the guards, and took everything that wasn't bolted down. She ambushed a Grimward scouting party and did the same.

Both sides sent hunters after her. Neither found her. The badlands are her home, and she knows every canyon, every cave, every shadow where a warband can disappear. Both sides tried allying with her too. She wasn't interested. Alliances mean obligations.

What she wants is the hunt and the kill. The moment when her warband crashes into an enemy line and everything dissolves into chaos, blood, and the wild joy of violence without purpose.

The war for Praetoria's secret rages across the Wild Northeast. Armies clash and magic tears the land apart.

Ghezira watches from the ridgelines, tail raised, muzzle split in a grin.

She'll pick the bones clean when they're done.

One wagon becomes damaged for each airdropped card you receive, whether or not that wagon participated in the current Conflict.

🎟️ Foil Fortune Draws

Every Chance earned through the Conflict event also acts as a draw entry that can be allocated toward special Foil Fortune Draws for premium versions of the Conflict card.

Players may:

  • Allocate all Chances into a single Foil Fortune Draw
  • Split Chances across multiple Foil Fortune Draws

After each Conflict ends, players will have a two-day allocation period to decide how their Chances will be distributed among the available Foil Fortune Draws.

Once the allocation period ends, the Foil Fortune Draws will be conducted and rewards distributed.

🍀 Potion Bonus Entries

Potions may be used to increase the number of Foil Fortune Draw entries, up to double the number of Chances allocated to a specific draw.

For example:

If a player allocates 100 Chances to the Black Foil Fortune Draw, they may use up to 100 Midnight Potions to receive 100 additional entries.

Foil Fortune DrawPotion Required Per Extra Entry
Gold Foil1 Alchemy Potion
Black Foil1 Midnight Potion
Gold Foil Arcane1 Lustrous Potion
Black Foil Arcane1 Lustrous Potion

Important Notes

  • Players receive only one submission for the Foil Fortune Draws.
  • Submissions cannot be changed once confirmed.
  • If no selections are submitted before the allocation period ends, all earned Chances will automatically be entered into the Gold Foil Fortune Draw without potion usage.
  • This is the only way to obtain Black Foil, Gold Foil Arcane, and Black Foil Arcane versions of the Conflict card.
  • After the Conflict concludes, Regular Foil and Gold Foil versions of the card can be found in packs.

🔄 Preparation Phase

Once a Conflict concludes, players may immediately begin preparing for the next Conflict.

During this period, Battle Mages can:

  • Repair damaged Mage Wagons
  • Build additional Mage Wagons
  • Place newly earned Conflict cards into wagons
  • Adjust their wagon strategy for the upcoming Conflict

Wagon preparation operates independently from the Foil Fortune Draw process. Players may prepare wagons for the next Conflict while Foil Fortune Draw allocations are taking place.
