Hello everybody and Welcome!! to my new post on this weeks splinterlands Social media Challenge. In today's post i am going to be talking about the base monster cards i consider the best support monsters in the chaos of legion card edition since my starting to battle in Splinterlands.
I would like to start first by highlighting the importance of an assist\support team player in any battle,games or even a community at large. My thoughts in today's world is that this part in organisations are usually always less regarded, and that is why i have decided to dedicate this post crediting and showing the significance of Support card monster in the co-ordination of a battle in Splinterlands gaming and also showing how they can increase chances in win rate of battle.
In this post i intend to talk about the cards perks and ability advantages of this support base monster cards, also including the positioning strategy in battle play out.
The Best Support Monster Card In Earth Elemental
HILL GIANT
In my opinion this card is the first best support monster card in the earth elemental is very important in the support position in battles and has a great advantage as a base card with low level mana cost with a health point of 6. This monster card is able to stall attacks, especially with strategic positioning and placement, cards with no special abilities are usually choosen less often in battles but when they do have a high health count in a low to mid mana cap battle their significance can be very useful and that is undeniable.
positioning- In my opinion the best position line-up for this card would be as a tank in the first position, this card has an advantage in Melee, and standard battles it is best to use this card as a stall card to protect your cards because of the health point it has and its mana cost too.
VENARI SCOUT
An opportunity monster card with special ability to eliminate monster with low health point and reduce attack, it only costs 3 mana to summon this card. It is a card that can be placed in any battle to deal damage to opponents monster card that have weak health and has a great advantage in medium mana cap battle, this card is a safe bet to go with considering its ability to help tank monsters.
Positioning- This opportunity monster card is best to be lined up in 3rd position in a battle to sustain life of front-line monsters by targeting opponents with low life monsters.
Best Support Monster Card In Death Elemental
CRYPT BEETLE
A card with Shield as special ability which reduces ranged and melee attack from enemy team, this monster card with 2 health point may seem like disadvantage to use, but this card can be used to stall attack depending on the position it is placed in.
Positioning- It might be the best card to place as tank monster card, but this greatly depends on the rule-set of the battle.
Best Support Monster Card in Fire Elemental
LAVA SPIDER
This card with 3 Mana cost is very influential in the line up of a battle, its special ability snipe has ability to target back position monster that have ranged attacks, this support monster would enable reduced attack from opponents team.
Positioning- Because of the ranged attack perk this card has, i prefer to place this card in the rear position in the line up, its guaranteed assist to front-liners diminishes the chances of multiple turns of opponent teams because of its ability to deal damage to back-line monsters.
Best Support Monster Card In Water Elemental
MERDAALI GUARDIAN
This base card is a card i consider one of the most important card in the chaos of legion card edition, with a low mana cost of 3, i cannot count how many times this card has changed a battle's play-out for me. It has special ability in all levels to heal first position tank mosnter's which is very important in a battle, ideally first position monsters already always have a high perks stats from speed to toughness and health,the additional advantage of having merdaali guardian healing power compliments the tanks monster in battles, this is one of my favourite card to use.
Positioning- The centre position is best for the merdaali guardian monster card, that is the 3rd of 4th position in the line up, this cards cannot be a front-line monster because of it **** but it would greatly assist in battles by consistently healing the first position monster as long as it remains in the battle.
RIVER NYMPH
Another fovourite monster card of mine in when speaking about base card is the river nymph. The river nymph is another influential card in battles with special ability cleanse to remove negative effects from tank monster in along side its advantages of magic attack ability which deals damage directly to health point of opponent.
Positioning- This card is another card that can be placed in any position but first position. preferably, the best position is 3rd position for me but this is also dependent on the rule-set of the card.

This post was written in my opinion to create awareness about monster cards which may seem below the typical cards considered to have good win rate in battles, to show you how they readily assist in battles as they may change the play-out of battle with their combination with other cards, especially in battles with low mana cap. I hope this helps any player looking to take advantage of this cards to earn successful battles
