With the new update, the quest potions are gone😪. It was a decision that had to made as it was exploiting the game to a great level.
But with this decision came some questions to my mind.
Here are a few of those:
1.Whales already hold over 100+ quest potions as they were dirt cheap so this update adversely affected the new players(con) and bot accounts(pro). This will increase the gap between the whales and new players.
2.Quest potions right now cost a lot as they are configured to dec price only. Seeing the price of dec buying quest potions now has become useless. They should adjust the price accordingly.
3 Right now there is no use of credits although it will be useful in buying packs in the upcoming region, essentially their money is stuck as credit cannot be converted to anything.

Yeah, they need to hurry up. There are more players now than ever before, but there are no packs, no reward cards, or anything else to buy or win. The card prices just keep rising.
The thing is, the game probably will just keep getting more and more expensive as it gets popular. Advanced level play may not be an option for everyone.
People are waiting for the new Chaos Legion packs, but I think they might be surprised/disappointed when they find out just how much many packs you have to buy to get all of your cards to high levels, or especially max level. They might be disappointed when they find out how much SPS they have to have staked, too.
But many people are prepared. They're staking their SPS, they're still buying cards. The game is growing... there might be some people who drop off at this point, but I think there will always be new ones.

You said you had questions and then you wrote what looked like 3 statements to me. But I'll treat it like you were asking questions about the 3 things.
The Whales are exploiting the system and eating up all the reward cards that they will then sell back to you. This was done to protect smaller collections.
Question potions used to cost $2 for both credits and DEC. When DEC skyrocketed you could take advantage of the system. 2000 DEC used to buy 1 potion. Now you can get a potion for 70 DEC. This was used as an exploit... Sell the DEC turn to credits and now you have 7x the buying power for credits.
You can buy cards with credits, you can rent cards with credits, you can buy skins with credits and in a few weeks you can buy card packs with credits.
