First of all, I want to be grateful to the man above (GOD) for giving me another life today to share this wonderful experience in my lifetime, it will not be truly possible if i was not able to know this game SPLINTERLANDS.
Before I started playing this best game SPLINTERLANDS, i was an avid collector of other NFT cards platform, however i usually flip my collection into profits, some i keep for collection if its really rare or somewhat important to me.
As a person for real im a lazy, selfish, stingy, greedy and self centered guy that i truly needed to accept in order to change. I barely join a community in other nft platforms. Im anti social and i dont have any social media platform aside from fb messenger and twitter. The reason behind is i dont really care so much about the people around and im just so focus on how to gain profits.
Additionally, when i was working before or having a new investment i usually keep all of my entire profits for gambling, reinvesting, buying stocks/crypto and very bad vices (literally not sharing in any way). As a whole i wasted great amount of money that im been blessed a lot and turn into things that i should have done differently. I was always lucky to gain something on what i invested but quickly turn into dust or suddenly disappear because of bad decision making or so much of a greed.
Almost my entire life i have been like that and i cannot truly figure out how to move forward or do things differently, i have been negative mostly as i really dont give a damn shit as long as im earning profits however for real the luck or blessings that i received have always comes up short and cannot continue to grow naturally almost everytime it happens.
After that, i have decided to collect and play SPLINTERLANDS on 2nd week of August. I was not really convinced if this is one profitable nft game that will help me do quick gains and very hesitant on putting any amount of money. I chose this game also as it was a similar game to Hearth Stones that i was love playing so why not start investing at that time. I was really confuse on how to play this game as i only watched youtube video tutorials (credits to Dwayne Cunningham and Bulldog1205) and we all know that we can only learn from it by trying it for real.
So i learned that i can earn DEC as a token in SL but i need to purchase the spell book first. To fast things up i have done it and the value of the assets that i was earning that time was not really worth it for me. So i added some funds, try to rent cards and made a lot of mistakes, so again i watched youtube (this is the first time that i watched clove's videos in youtube opening packs but i have no idea regarding twitch tv) try to improve my skills in a game. One way to earn more DEC is to rent alpha/gold foil cards, win streak and have a guild, these are the things i remember that time to lead me looking for a guild at SL discord channel.
Luckily i noticed this one heck of a guy named Drabs (the ever popular streamer at twitch tv @drabs587), i quickly send him DM as he was trying to recruit for 500 DEC contribution per month to join a guild. He replied to me and i was accepted as one of the first batch of our guild (SPLINTER SKULLS) together with a great guy and friend named @knownknowledge. This is how i started joining the SL community and met my mentor Drabs, a true geniune person that suddenly changing the approach of my life and other people. Without him definitely i wouldn't care so much and i wont even learn writing this things.
To added it up he just got started to stream at twitch tv (no cam yet). At that time i was busy on other things and not really paying attention of it and then one day i finally tried to listen and watch him go live on stream at twicthTV. First honestly, i decided to do it to have an idea who my Leader was and for the give aways. However, as the stream goes on and the time i spent im being fond of it and learn how to appreciate a wonderful community.
After that the rest is history, he gives me a lot of positive feedback, invites me to the 2nd stream that i watched in twitch @godislove777 (the ever generous and wise guy tons of wisdom) which i think he gifted me as a sub, followed by @siutcase (one of the great and generous streamers, won sps everytime on his channel) which he gifted me as a sub and finally @clove71(we all know how generous she is, she is for me the best influencer, simply amazing, love her much) which he gifted me another sub. And not only that on all the streams he invited me and gifted me as a sub i win right away for give aways so how bout that.
I was very happy for a fact that im earning extra more cards, sps and dec by watching and learning from them and then suddenly one time it just hit me as the generosity of these people and effort are incredible, overwhelming and really helps other people to change their lives (depending on their own personal approach).
I tried to explore twitch tv and saw that all of my subscriptions are all gifted (by drabs my brother) and decided to subscribe on my own after to the other generous and genius streamers such as @gank,@gameboyali,@bulldog1205, @ohmmygod, @adikar, @splinterlandscolosseum and soon to all the old/upcoming streamers (shout out to the talented people of #nosleepgang).
So this sudden changes was one of the reason why i was fond gifting subs now and i consider it a small thing to do compare to the amount of time and effort and all the value the SL community as a whole are providing to the community 24/7 by not really caring of any returns. Their whole intention every time we watched streams or read blogs about SPLINTERLANDS or other platforms is to wake us up and learn to share our blessings. This things makes me realize how really awesome and special these people are and they have been blessed continually because their mindset is to open our heart, provide something exceptional that will really help somehow change/touch lives and luckily i was one of them.
Now i have tried to become more active in the community as i really feel a lot of love and joy, trying to learn to be involved in some little ways to help others and try to share the amount of blessings that i was receiving. Its an incredible feeling, incredible journey that i will definitely cherish forever.
Truly i can say that it gives me different approach and mindset moving forward. Its not all about the money/profit/gains (which i think it is all about before) its all about opening our minds to a new level to be a difference maker or some what a person that can help the community grow more and help more. It can be me today, you can be the next day and so on and so forth. Everyone can make a big difference in their own special way big/small or just simply being thankful and not abusive of being part of SL community or any great community out there.
The founder and creator of SPLINTERLANDS, Aggroed and Yabapmatt and all the people behind the scenes, we all it owe to you and we thank you for providing us amazing tools, great game experience and wonderful kind of environment.
For all the influencer and noble people of SL community you all know who you are, we all wish you more power and together we can make this community bigger, tighter, better and stronger. Sharing is caring and infinite love for SL community!
Lastly, im so proud that some members in the community like @thercek and @hi3i (both of them started it and i recognize them and i just followed them) are doing amazing things, keep it up and more power guys, i know more people will follow us.
Sorry for this long narrative story of my experience in SPLINTERLANDS. Im not doing this for my own intentions, for any recognition, fame or profits for it, from the bottom of my heart i want to share this to anyone so they can soon discover how to experience the blessings that im currently having and the utmost joy that no one can take it away. No words can explain thats why i wanted to share everything here to atleast make you feel the impact of it in my life. Im just like a normal/average guy like everyone else here and we are all given equal chance in our life so why not try to change something and share that story to us, i would really love to read what other people story they can share in the amazing SPLINTERLANDS community. I am with you 100%! When Coronavirus hit- it really did not change my life much having to stay inside as I always did anyway, minus the occasional walk or Dr, visit I am home. I take care of my 25-year-old son who has Cerebral palsy so I am just home all the time with him. So anything social comes from Splinterlands really as I am always in there in Discord, Hive reading Splinterlands posts like this great one & I look around on Twitch a lot, etc. I am so glad you are here and Splinetrlands has changed my life for the better too! I'll never forget my Guild Co-Leader Raynie when coronavirus hit she wanted to send me and my son money to help!! We were fine though thankfully but you know we are a family here!
