Montmelo - Mercedes threats sprint up to third practice session of Spanish Formula GP. Lewis Hamilton showed the fastest time again.
At a free practice at Catalunya Circuit, Friday (11/05/2018), After making the fastest lap time in the second free practice session, Hamilton repeated again in the last training session. He made a record time of 1 minute and 17.281 seconds with a choice of supersoft tires. He is faster than Valterri Bottas 0.013 seconds.
Competitor teams should try harder if they want to finish better than the Mercedes duo in real race tomorrow. Two Ferrari riders, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen, ranks third. Each record the fastest time of 1 minute and 17.550 seconds and 1 minute 17.581 seconds.
The fastest lap times in the third free practice session are in fourth and fifth places made by Daniel Ricciardo and Kevin Magnussesn. Romain Grosjean and Carlos Sainz Jr. making the fastest time record just enough to fill seventh and eighth ranks.
Two in the top ten fastest in the third practice session of other Spanish GP made Fernando Alonso and Pierre Gasly.
