Michael Bennett

I was reading @broncnutz, and I saw his story about Michael Bennett. Crazy that we have a top NFL player pushing over old people, and add this to his running from the cops escapade in Vegas. What is wrong with this guy. We now know why the Sea-hawks wanted to get rid of this guy so fast. My take away's from this mess. 636576807656912374-bennett-michael-111385.jpg

  1. Why the heck did the Justice system take 14 MONTHS.... If there was enough evidence.

  2. What should his suspension look like? A whole season? shoot Brady got 4 games for deflating a ball a bit.

  3. Lets be honest if he would have maned up and helped the lady out, taken care of the situation then. This would be a none issue and life would be Rosie.

  4. This guy is absolutely not a role model, and has no business being put in a position to be. Just a over grown baby.

Hopefully the Eagles release him, because they have a shot at a repeat.

It blows my mind how so many of these guys continue to get into trouble. Bennett acted like nothing more than a thug in this situation. These guys continue to tarnish the NFL and pro sports. I think we have gotten to the point where we are no longer shocked by the things that we hear about anymore. It has come to be expected and sadly it is the norm. The saddest part is that so often they are able to buy their way out of trouble and they are not held accountable enough for their actions. You can be sure that if I pushed an old lady down It would'nt take 14 months for the justice system to come crashing down on me!!!

I literally thought it was this last super bowl, and then I was like o, the pats lost this one. I do believe Bennett was still on the team, but was hurt, and with the Pats in it like every year, it is hard to tell. But ya, why wouldn't you just try and settle it though. You have time, not like you are at a job everyday.

You'd think it would shock us, but it doesn't anymore... at least not to the level it should. Apparently it was worth it to him to shove that lady over. No apology on that of course. He didn't apologize for the Vegas thing either.
And you're right, if someone other than a sports star pushed an old woman down, it would be taken care of right away. Even if it had been any other fan in that situation, it would have been all over the news the next day.

Dude looks like he's not allowed to live within a mile of schools if ya know what I mean. What a shitty person. Looks like a alternate reality George Costanza.

That is probably how it went, and I am sure he will blame the cops some how. Say he was singled out because he pushed over a lady. That was his mug shot, and it does look really freaking creepy.

I read about that the other day and I thought they had the year wrong. After all, it wouldn't take 14 months to get reported on, right? Nope, I was wrong. Somehow it escaped notice until now. I can see why the Seahawks would want to move on from him, but then again, they could have done the right thing and benched him last season... because I'm sure they knew about it. Just like they knew about Josh Brown assaulting his wife... and did nothing about that either.

Ya how does this crap, not get reported, but when he thought he was a victim of police brutality it was all over the news the next day or two. Again his own fault for being dumb.

I live in Seattle and I’m glad he’s gone. Tired of his behavior.

Hi bigman, you've actually spoken well and to me justice delayed is truly justice denied...
I still hope they serve him with his deserved punishment.
