Hola otra vez amigos de aquí jandrox con un nuevo post sobre el juego más reciente de fútbol que tuve que no podía aguantar el contarles los sucesos de este gran partido.
I was not a starter, but in the end I assisted the goal for the much-needed victory.
Hello again friends here jandrox with a new post about the most recent soccer game I had that I couldn't bear to tell you the happenings of this great match.
Un partido importante para nuestro avance
Cómo les conté anteriormente mi equipo está en un pequeño torneo en el cual podemos escalar para llegar a jugar el torneo estadal, pero si queremos jugarlo debemos esforzarnos mucho y ganar todos los partidos que podamos en especial ahora.
Este era nuestro séptimo partido y el último de la primera vuelta. Hasta el momento solo habíamos ganado un partido que fue el anterior y hasta el momento estamos de sextos y si ganamos podíamos ponernos de quintos (para la siguiente ronda clasifican los primeros cuatro así que era era muy importante ganar).
An important game for our progress
As I told you before my team is in a small tournament in which we can climb to get to play the state tournament, but if we want to play it we must work hard and win all the games we can especially now.
This was our seventh game and the last of the first round. So far we had only won one game, which was the previous one, and so far we are in sixth place and if we win we could be in fifth place (the first four qualify for the next round, so it was very important to win).
El partido empezó pero yo estaba en la banca ya que mi entrenador decidió no ponerme desde el inicio pero yo estaba esperando mi oportunidad para demostrar lo que valgo. Desde el principio nuestro equipo se mostró muy por encima del rival, y solo unos minutos después que empezara nos adelantamos con un gol desde el corner.
The game started but I was on the bench as my coach decided not to start me but I was waiting for my chance to show what I am worth. From the beginning our team was way ahead of our opponents, and only a few minutes after it started we took the lead with a goal from the corner.
El partido avanzó y seguimos dominado pero por poco, ya que ellos también se acercaban, hasta que en dos ocasiones por errores de la defensa nos hicieron dos goles y se adelantaron, y así terminó el primer tiempo.
Nuestro entrenador pensó en los cambios que se podían hacer, cambio al delantero que no estaba ganando muchos balones, también cambió de posición a los mediocampistas y quitó a un lateral me puso a mi y el otro central cambio de posición conmigo así que era mi momento entrar y darlo todo.
Cuando comenzó el segundo tiempo todo cambió completamente, empezamos a atacar más y ellos no lograban pasarnos, incluso el entrenador me pidió que también fuera a atacar hasta que en un tiro libre cerca del área fuimos a atacar nuestro mediocampo disparó e hizo el gol gracias al descuido de su portero, habíamos empatado...
The game progressed and we continued to dominate but just barely, as they were also getting closer, until two defensive mistakes made us two goals and they went ahead, and so ended the first half.
Our coach thought about the changes that could be made, he changed the striker who was not winning many balls, he also changed the position of the midfielders and removed a fullback and put me in and the other center back changed position with me so it was my time to come in and give it my all.
When the second half started everything changed completely, we started to attack more and they were not able to pass us, even the coach asked me to go to attack too until in a free kick near the area we went to attack our midfield shot and made the goal thanks to the carelessness of their goalkeeper, we had tied....
Nuestro ánimo y moral subió increíblemente y fuimos a tratar de sacar el desempate, intentamos, intentamos todo lo que pudimos, subimos disparamos pero gracias a algunas atajadas de su portero no logramos hacer el gol. Hubo ocasiones muy claras de gol, hasta que cuando faltaban dos minutos para que terminara el partido un ataque del equipo contrario terminó en falta a favor de nosotros, estábamos en la media cancha más o menos y el entrenador como sabe que soy de los que mejor patea en el equipo me mandó a cobrarlo...
Our spirits and morale went up incredibly and we went to try to get the tie-breaker, we tried, we tried everything we could, we shot but thanks to some saves by their goalkeeper we did not manage to score a goal. There were very clear chances to score, until two minutes before the end of the game when an attack by the opposing team ended in a foul in our favor, we were in the midfield more or less and the coach, knowing that I am one of the best kickers on the team, sent me to collect it....
Un tiro libre decisivo
Me dijo que solo bombeara el balón para que llegara a un jugador y eso hice, ví que mi compañero de central era el que estaba más activo, el que más se movía y dije que tenía que ser para él, entonces lo mandé para allá le callo a mi compañero quedó frente al portero y...marcó el gol que nos daba la victoria. Lo que hicimos después fue aguantar hasta que terminó el partido y ganamos con el marcador 3-2.
A decisive free kick
He told me to just place the ball so that it would reach a player and that's what I did, I saw that my teammate in the center was the most active, the one who was moving the most and I said it had to go to him, so I sent it to him, he was in front of the goalkeeper and... he scored the goal that gave us the victory. What we did after that was to hold on until the game ended and we won with the score 3-2.
Y así terminó uno de los partidos más importantes que habíamos tenido en un tiempo, un partido muy exigente que dió su recompensa: los tres puntos que nos dan una mayor oportunidad de clasificar, pueden ver nuestras caras de alegría en la siguiente foto.
And so ended one of the most important matches we have had in a while, a very demanding match that gave its reward: the three points that give us a better chance to qualify, you can see our faces of joy in the following photo.
