Gearbox change at my rally car

in #sport5 years ago (edited)

Hi Steemers!

I already posted about my racing weekend which was also last weekend. This was the first time for me being behind the wheel of my rally car after some time because I had some problems which shoud stay personal.

I was pleased how it all went and I am also looking for another event to come back step by step.

Like always there were some issues with the car because when you drive it on the limit, something can break.

We detected some problems with gearbox, especially with the first gear which shoud be inspected.

My fellow competitor and helper Damir P assisted once again and with his true knowledge he was the chief mechanic today and I was just an assistent.

We needed more then one hour to remove the gearbox from the car and that's it.

Gearbox specialist will open it and see what is wrong with 1st gear.

Thanks to Damir P, great friend and helper!

Pretty nice shots in garage showing what passion for racing is all about and that is not always easy to enjoy it. Life at it is and the things we do for what we love...

you really must love this in a way... :)
