Hi, Steemers!
It's rare to see test of the lower classes but I found one today and it's really interesting. I already wrote that Rally Catalunya is mixed surface event with gravel on the first day and tarmac on the second one.
Organizor proposes days for testing, even for the lower classes. This time they had test on the tarmac road. And it's interesting to see the different cars on the same part of road.
We can see from the video that Henning Solberg took part of it with the private Škoda Fabia R5. His brother and ex-WRC Champion Petter is also doing the event but with the new homologated and full works support Volkswagen Polo R5.
But lets be honest, there is lots of really good drivers in the WRC2 category, or if you want more simple - drivers in R5 cars.
It will be interesting to see the duel of the brothers. There are some other top names of that class on the entry list like: Kopecky, Rovanpera, Camilli, Lefebvre, Huttunen, Veiby and they are all works drivers in the R5 category.
I would say that all the top guys have equal chances of winning the event.
