2017 NFL Predictions

in #sports7 years ago

As we head into July we are nearing the NFL Preseason and more importantly about two months until the season kicks offs.

Cam Newton gets back to form and Panthers make the playoffs. Cam was not mentally and physical there in the 2016 season. Dealing with an injury and mentally he was worried about getting, what he called cheap shots hit against him regularly the Panthers were a huge disappointment last season. Cam will be ready to go and the Panthers add a key asset in Christian McCaffery to the already powerful offense in Carolina.

Dallas doesn't win the NFC East. Dallas is going to be a great team but I think the best team in that division is the New York Football Giants. If Odell Beckham Jr can get his head straight he is going have a stellar season. With the key addition of Brandon Marshall and drafting the athletic TE Evan Engram, the Giants offense looks tough to contain, nevermind stop.

The New England Patriots clinch the AFC East before week 13. I am not saying the Patriots are going into week 13 undefeated, but if one team is undefeated they are my pick. After winning the Super Bowl, who would have thought this team would have had arguably the best offseason as well. Adding Brandin Cooks, Stephon Gilmore and keeping Dont'a Hightower and Malcolm Butler, this New England team looks to add another ring and continue the Bellichick/Brady dynasty. This won't be Brady's farewell tour either.

Derek Carr earns his 5 year/ $125 million dollar contract. Any player making that kind of money has to be special and I think Carr is the real deal and will prove it. If the Patriots don't represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, I am taking the Raiders. The Raiders should win 11 or 12 games this season and the addition of Beast Mode, Marshawn Lynch, makes that offense a unstoppable force. The question for the Raiders is can everyone stay healthy.

New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers play in the Super Bowl. The Patriots are the overall favorite to win the Super Bowl, so it is easy to pick them to represent the AFC. The Packers were a little bit tougher to pick. Between the Giants, Cowboys, Packers, Falcons and Panthers, it is hard to pick against Aaron Rodgers. If the match up holds true, I expected the Patriots to win back to back rings and bring the Lombardi Trophy back to New England.

Great post man! Keep it up

It hurts to say as a Cowboys fan but i expect a Giants And Raiders Super Bowl.

CAM NEWTON = GARBAGE. Panthers finish 3rd in the division. Kuechly isn't what he once was and they are soft on the defensive line. Falcons, Buccaneers, Panthers, Saints

Gotta go with the Boys! Dak and Ezekiel had a great first year. I think with a little experience under their belts, they could go all the way this year.

Ravens Nation!
