The illustrious basketball career of Carmello Anthony is about over.
Not many players have the Hall of Fame Stats after 16 years.
Here again, like so many other All-star players, marital infidelity ruined his marriage which some say was the reason he opted out of his New York Knicks contract to go to the Western Conference to play with the Houston Rockets.
In my opinion, he a run and gun type of player ideal for the Head Coach D'Antonio's style of basketball. However, the player ego's got in the way of success.
Nevertheless, he's another premier elite ball player that never won an NBA Finals.
He probably will retire without the championship ring and trophy.
Good to go to the Hall of Fame the second or third time around.

If Carmello was an investment project, how would the STEEMLEO tribe make the trade investment for him?
PALNET, have any thoughts about Carmello?
Personally, I feel he has one great season left, but does he have the mentality to grind through the season and the post-season playoffs?
His best chance of winning a championship in recent years was playing for the Houston Rockets... Who would want him now?
He began his career in the Western Conference with the Denver Nuggets. In my opinion, he played his best years there!
As tough as the Western Conference is, his All-star caliber skill set was ideal for that conference, not so much the Eastern Conference teams.
When he was traded to the Knicks there was some faint hope, he could lead the Knicks all the way to the finals.
I never saw Carmello as a player that can carry the entire team for the regular season and the playoffs... Then turn it up to Most Valuable Player championship games to win it all!
He was always a valuable big three as they say and definitely a game closer.
Maybe later this year when the team rosters are settled, we'll write another article that better honors his stardom in the National Basketball Association.
