But ... What is innovation?

Innovation can be an art according to some authors, according to others it can be science, but the important thing is that everyone concludes that innovation is sensation, is how you make your target audience feel with your product, is that how you generate a greater added value of your product. To do this, in my next article I will delve into two concepts that are Stroytelling and User Experience, key concepts when innovating.

It is important to emphasize that innovation is not an independent process nor is it something we do once and now, we must always be innovating so that our enterprise can survive and we depend on the ecosystem that surrounds us.

In order to innovate, we need to generate ideas in the best possible way and we call this process "ideation". This art has several tools that can help us do it in a better way, such as:

The Brainstorming, "the worst idea" and the Role Playing, tools that with a good practice can help us to have the success we are looking for when we start.

With practice and discipline you can get very far in the world of entrepreneurship ...

But we always make mistakes, in fact without them we could not move forward because we would not learn anything.

I leave here one of the most common mistakes at the time of undertaking:

  • Believe that being innovative is very expensive or that you need to invest a lot of resources.
  • Expect to be bigger or have more power to spend time innovating.
  • Think that innovation is not important in your industry.
  • Not to integrate the whole team in the innovation process.
  • Search for ideas without knowing what problem or need you want to solve.
  • Not having a system to take advantage of these innovative ideas.

  • I've been a little lost these days around here in Steemit, but I've already solved several projects and will be accompanying them again. Pending my next article about Storytelling and User Experience.
