The successful roll-out of SMTs, and a large online magazine/newspaper/amazon buying 1 million STEEM to power up and reward its visitors.

I'm more excited about communities than SMT, plus I am concerned with the legality of SMT in the US.

Not sure communities will impact STEEM much, a bit like all the shenanigans that go on here currently. Steemit.com seems to have 0 impact on price, the tokens are traded like the rest.

SMT is the chance to be different, and break away from the pack. If a big online player dives in and they see growth in visitors from competitors, we are set.

Most of the upwards price has nothing to do with what goes on here imo.
