I was listening to Paul Smith's audiobook where he tells an Amazing story about swimming pigs.
I was so amused I just had to share it with awesome Steemit community!
Why these piggies had to learn swimming?
Years ago in the Caribbeans a local entrepreneur transported hundreds of pigs to an uninhabited island for factory farming.
Unfortunately there was not much for pigs to eat on the island. After some time the entrepreneur then decided to leave piggies to die since he did not see any return on investment and did not have other land to take the pigs to.
Fortunately it was Bahamas
and there were a few resorts on neighbor islands. One of them would Dump their Restaurant food Leftovers in the water nearby the Pig island. Having no choice these Pigs have learnt to Swim and grab their foods to survive. Next generation of Pigs learnt from previous and now that island is full of swimming Pigs.
P.s.
I think these pigs swim really well considering their body shapes I was shocked at how far they can swim and how they can turn and maneuver in water!
If you visit,
make sure you are in deep water so they cannot touch the bottom, otherwise you will find them in the boat with you. They have teeth and are not tame although really adorable in my opinion! Way to go piggies!

#Pigs are human. Not surprising considering pigs are the smartest domesticated animal, if they can play video games, I don't see why they could't teach themselves to swim. Good post and Upvoted!
It's always amazing a pink captivated pig will turn into a hairy beast when wild. I love pigs though they are brilliant.
