I'm pretty good at crypto investing if you have been following when I bought the bulk of my crypto this cycle. I went in heavy on December 11th but was buying pretty much every day.
My worst mistake in crypto.... STEEM. Everyone get out why you can. I'm 1000 miles away from my keys so I can't power down and get out so I have to watch it be drained to a point where it will be about #150 on CoinMarketCap
The worker proposal funds will just go to the witnesses and large stake holders who already drain the system.
Stack Steemit Inc on top of the chaos and you are in for a financial beating. Don't invest your money here.
I hate to say that because it is the most fully developed crypto project. There has just been mistake after mistake with it and sometimes the truth hurts.
Post some and get as much as you can but you are like a salmon trying to swim up a river just to realize there is a hydro electric dam in your way.
I don't say this stuff to be negative. I'm just telling you the truth.
Stuff like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, EOS, Ethereum... etc has a better value proposition for someone who doesn't like financial abuse.
Investing in STEEM at this point worse than putting US Dollars in a safe and thinking there will be more value in 30 years.

i understand what you are saying.
However, i do not see any "mistakes".
I will continue to use Steem for what it is good for.
It is not only free, but i get a pittance for my efforts.
All win for me.
If a person just does time investment and never put money in and then take the money to something else. People who invested money really got burned.

Yes indeed, that is the way of things here. I saw it as such from the moment i found out what Steem was.
From the projects before, and the projects after, the people that built Steem... everything they did, the HF that we thought were just bad / mistakes. Each mistake goes towards a goal that is apparent from those people's actions.

I should look at EOS a bit
From an investment perspective yes I agree it hasn't been the greatest but that doesn't mean we should all get out. There are still uses for it and many people enjoy those uses, I have other alts I invest in that will hopefully bring me the returns I'm looking for. This was always just a way for me to learn and have fun on a blockchain.
Basically anything in the top 10 is safe because it grows with bitcoin. Steem keeps falling down and isnt experiencing the pumps due to bitcoin.

Maybe the hardfork can be stopped by voting for witnesses who are against it.
I understand @drakos, @krnel and @liberosist are against it - so if we can get them into the top 20 they might be able to stop it.
