The city of Lhokseumawe is a city in northern Aceh province.
the city is located in the middle of the east path of Sumatra, located between Banda Aceh and Medan, so the city is very crowded in visit by lovers of traveling, other than that this city has its own motive with its beautiful nature, fresh air so as to captivate the hearts of the visitors.
Lhokseumawe is derived from the word LHOK and SEUMAWE, in the Aceh language, LHOK means in, whereas, SEUMAWE means swirling water or the center of a spring on the high seas.
the existence of this city can not be separated from the emergence of the kingdom of SAMUDERA PASAI around the 13th century, then this region became part of Sultan Raja Iskandar sultanate sovereignty since 1524.
