Almost a dolphin
The price of Steem right now is $0.2437. There are two kinds of people on this platform. There are those that are bitching about the price and those that are embracing the price of Steem.
I have been buying more Steem while the price is down and growing my stake on the platform because I know that the price is not going to stay down forever. We will go back up and it is going to be awesome. At the time of writing this post, I have 4,708 Steem Power.
I have been buying Steem and powering up and many different prices throughout my journey here. I have bought when the price was $4.65 and wished it was under 25 cents, so now I am trying to get as much as I can afford at the moment. I know that the blockchain has a bright future with things like @dstors bridging the gap between the crypto world and the eCommerce world. There are so many other amazing things being built as well. Stay positive, keep earning and "Just Steemit."

I agree. Time to commit to the blockchain. A lot are powering down. I guess they are allowing us to get these awesome prices.
Good point! When I first got here, many complained about the 'distribution'. This has been the best price moments since I have arrived, I have bought steem as high as 1.75 personally, but with bitcoin when bitcoin was a lot lower (like 2800 haha). But what has bitcoin done in the meantime besides fork endlessly? Steem has incredible potential and more apps than ever!

I'm thrilled with the current prices @derangedvisions and buy $130 USD at the beginning of every month.
I think Dollar Cost Averaging is one of the best strategies for accumulating Steem at this point in time since we still don't know how low it will go.
Now that I understand @dstors more, it is one of the projects that gives me confidence in the Steem blockchain.

I agree that averaging the price is the way to go. Waiting to buy until you think it hits bottom is the wrong thing to do in my opinion. Setting up buy orders at different prices is the best way to go so that you dont miss out on any of the deals.
I think it's also important to not go 'All-in' on any particular price. It is bad for a person's mental and emotional health and prevents them from being able to average down in the future.
I wrote about this before the crash and most of the people who are complaining now made that mistake. @derangedvisions

I have been doing the same thing. Last 2 months not so much, have a problem to deal with. I am sitting at 1760. And working hard to power up. Nice to see others doing the same and growing

What’s the fastest way to get usd to steem. I haven’t bought crypto with usd for years and now I want to. Coinbase and my account no longer work.

I use coinbase, even though it won't take paypal anymore, I send paypal to my.bank, bank to coinbase, buy ltc, send ltc to blocktrades. I just got 105 steem per LTC yesterday.
I also use coinbase. I bought $110 in ETH today and then sent it to Binance and used it to buy Steem. I was able to get around 430 Steem.
Do you live in the US? Try Cashapp. It lets you buy bitcoin. Free withdrawl if you withdraw $50 worth of bitcoins.
Well done!! Seems like many people power up at the moment. Unfortunately I don´t have any fiat left.
I think this is going to be my Christmas present today. The price may drop evem more over the next month or so and i may look at picking up some more, but when BTC rises, i am sure i will be happy with my desicion.
I may get some tax return to put into different coins. let´s hope the market recovers until summer next year.
I'm going to do what I can to power up quickly. The faster I do, the better. I'm so happy to be a part of the Steemit community in these times, where the potential gains are so high it would be foolish not to.
