I do the share this steemit thing everyday from my lyft drivers to co-workers and social media. Have held a meetup in Manila where I gave a 4' steemit banner away and plan to hold more meetups across the U.S..
Also look at my last few posts, I give some steemit info interesting for investors.

Nice. One tip though, try to focus more on "Steem" than "Steemit". Steemit is just one website built on top of the Steem blockchain. Steem is so much more!
