You now have the chance to buy STEEM in the 20-10cents range like the first steemians did in 2016.
This is actually great for STEEM, because what most people don't seem to understand is, that people that sell at these low prices never believed in the community and what we have created here anyway. Those sellers just wanted a quick buck and run away once the price dropped hard.
Only true believers take a risk by investing in the future of STEEM right now, while it seems to be on the verge of collapse. The strong hands buy and hold now, those that sell are people we don't want or need here anyway...
I have my buy rungs set, hoping to get all of them filled. It's time to make a decision.
The timing could not be better with HF21 right around the corner. I begged stinc to postpone HF21 until the drop is about to be completed and now this is exactly what happens! HF21 is still in the testing phase and will not be released this week. PERFECT!

Yeah this is true chance but not exactly for me as our currency is devalued against USD and it is very difficult to purchase crypto.
Would not it be better to wait for a noticeable change in trend before recommending someone to buy steem or whatever? If steem returns some $ 2 ... that is + 800%, is not it better to recommend it once some indicator shows a change in trend? Or is it that we talk about religions?
Any buy below 1$ is a good buy in my opinion. 20 cents is very rare. 10 cents is un-f.ing-believable.
If I am actually going to get some for 5 cents I am literally going to cry tears of joy. But I am quite sure that this is not going to happen, like ever.

Why do you think the process is convoluted/complicated?
Send BTC to Bittrex or Binance and buy Steem, send to your account, done.
Or if you want the fastest way, buy BTC and send it to blocktrades which will transfer the amount of Steem you can buy with your BTC directly to your Steem account.
It's that easy.
I remember last summer being told I had to use gift cards to buy material goods for foreigners in exchange for crypto to be converted into Steem, or something to that effect, since it is "illegal" or something to buy it directly with cash. Still, it would require me to have near constant internet access, which is something I can't afford to do at the moment, or I would be doing more than one Steem post a day and chatting with folks a lot more. You talking like that is a bad thing lol. They just took my recommendation to crash the price right before the economic reset (read hardfork 21) and that is a good thing.
At the moment not enough buyer for Steem and the trading volume is so low in comparison with other altcoins in the market.

👍 I will be powering up some more when the fear gets the greatest. I think it’s starting to kick in. I see people powering up at 0.3 are now scared to power up at lower levels.
I’m 50/50 on Steem now

Not intended to be FUD. Just how I am feeling, I was feeling great about crypto recently but feeling little more bearish by the day, I hope I am way wrong! I’ve still got my Steem and many others.. 🤞
I agree with you @ew-and-patterns.
Clearing out the weak hands is vital to an asset class. We want STEEM in as many strong hands as we can. It will be ideal to see thousands of smaller accounts buying up STEEM if we hit the range you proclaim.
It will only strengthen the entire ecosystem.
