It's been an intense week for the Steem network, the hostile take-over by Tron Founder (Justin Sun) has brought so much confusion & stress among the steem users. It spreads like a virus. Most of the services & DApps were suspended.
What turn things around is the initiative of the Steem community. We "real steem users" rallied to stand for what we believe in.
Our effort to protect the "decentralization" of the Steem network caught the attention of the cryptoworld.
The steemians who were quiet in the past were awakened and joined the rally. It's like a huge SPUD event. New & old users are powering-up to protect the status quo. The witnesses are showing tenacity amidst the voting war.
And then the first community elected witness entered the Top 20 and subsequently followed by the other witness until we dominated half of the Top 20 spots.
The STOP Token was initiated to rally against the hostile take-over as well.
Pledges to serve & protect the steem network are pouring from active users and from users that hibernate for a long time.
Steem is exciting once again however the big question is... have we saved the steem network already?
