Don't you think all of those things will push Steem to the moon?
I'm not saying that I do, because I don't. It feels like we're stuck right now, and have been for some time... But you never know what might happen in the future.
I'm not sure we'll ever see SMT's hit the light of day.
SMT is to STEEM as Lightning network is to Bitcoin... I'm probably going to die of old age before either of those projects actually come out...
