RE: What Steem can learn from Linux and Git? Few words about decentralization from Linus Torvalds

This sounds interesting. Who is receiving the curation rewards? The SP-owner? What the benefit for the curator in voting for other steem accounts?

Who is receiving the curation rewards?

If I would delegate your single votes to your friend, then he would be able to also decide whether he want to vote on a particular vote just before you.

You will get normal curation from your vote and he will get curation from his vote, if he will decide also cast own vote.

But let me explain why this is win-win situation

When someone focus on a single field or an area of expertise... then it is much easier to spot earlier truly remarkable post. If you would delegate your vote to 10-20 experts chosen by you, then... all of then will have 10-20 more chance to find and reward great post much earlier. Because you can limit how many votes per day/week they could use... then will probably use them only for the best posts.

Your curation will be much higher, because with many people voting with your vote... they will be able to vote content quicker, therefore get more curation.

But also... because those people can always vote with own vote first... with 100% certainty that a second later they can use much stronger vote on top of that... that will increase their curation as well :)
