Is This a Glitch or What?
If I check my account at busy.org (same blockchain) I'm jolted back to reality and I can see that I'm worth much less than I was a year ago. Oh well, it's still not bad and I'm in it for the long hall!
Reality sets in right away as this snap shot from busy.org shows!
Obviously something is up with the figures being extracted from the blockchain. I'm sure that it will be corrected soon but in the meantime check your wallet and dream. Perhaps it will give you a laugh and boost your spirits during this down trend in crypto. Remember, better times will come!

There's some sort of software glitch there. It's odd as you would think it would be a simple multiplication of your Steem and SBD by the exchange rates. It's at least provided some light relief when we needed it.

Steemit has lost its common sense due to falling prices, so they come up with strange ideas to spread sensations to the public. I think Steemit has been abandoned by many users, because the price is not right.
Possible theory. Yes many leave when the price is low. This give a good chance to earn more Steem.

This was discussed in witness channel; glitch happened with incorrect steemfeed prices...
This line fails to divide by the quote part of the feed price ratio and therefore computes an incorrect price when the quote is not 1.000.
This is the case currently as the consensus logic is adjusting the feed price to maintain the 10% SBD to STEEM market cap "median_sbd_price": { "base": "122615385.381 SBD", "quote": "283814541.914 STEEM" } limit, resulting in a complex ratio. It could also occur if witnesses started reporting the price feed using a quote other than 1.000. For example, this could happen at very low STEEM prices, in order to enable more than three fractional digits.
