Going to take today to talk about the state of the markets and some other thoughts. But first, here's a photo of the California dream.. a nice beach house painted in a light sea side blue. To perfectly match the home, the owner chose this beautiful and iconic Volkswagen Kombi. The red paint shines a wonderful contrast to the blue home.

In other news, the price of Steem has been relatively stable with a sideways trading pattern for the last couple of days. We're hovering at a consistent price of around $2.90-$3.10 while SBD has dramatically decreased to a price of $1.94. While many of you want SBD to increase, I actually want it to decrease.
When we have a $3 Steem price and a stable $1 SBD price, we get an effective 3x difference on SBD when powering down our Steem. If Steem reaches $10, this will be a 10x increase. In effect, this is like getting 750 SBD for 75 Steem.
Where's the benefit in this you may ask? Since this platform is now run on bid-bots, we have a higher proportion of SBD which allows us to make more Steem in the long run - which is what we all want.
