Yes, thanks @steevc. I realise more effort on discord is probably my best bet, but TBH I feel most of the established accounts here just aren't interested in anything but their projects and their friends initiatives.
I completely get that though as Its likely a product of the high turn over rate or lack of retention which is directly related to a lack of interest in fostering small accounts that aren't trying to rub elbows with devs and politically driven accounts. It's the nature of capitalism, "what's in it for me" "I invested time and money so should they" these are the vibes I generally receive from the larger accounts..

The big guys need to realise that they need more new users if they want their investment to have a future. If Steem just stays a small club it will stagnate. My vote is fairly small, but I will do what I can.
That's very much appreciated I will do what I can to support other active small accounts as well.. Encouragement comes in many forms. I'd definitely invest fiat into steem if I felt more confident in the future of the platform. But, that's a big ask having seen all the drama and lack of consensus as to what direction steem is headed. Steem is a far cry from the idealism or honeymoon phase that created the current power plays.. Until I see adults not man children seeing the big picture I can only offer my time and energy. I think any rational new user would agree with me on these points
