Today we're going to address our blacklist, the waiting time to get whitelisted and our policy against SPAM & ABUSE on STEEM.
It has come to our attention that @msteemian was plaggiarizing a lot of content lately, and even pumped the plagiarized piece above with an obscene amount of bought votes.

Since SmartSteem takes Quality of Content very serious - we made the decision to remove all of our votes from the posts still in the payout window.
This has lead us to want to clarify a few things.
Are You a Spammer? Do You Plagiarize? Do You Create Content To Buy Upvotes?
...If you answered any of these questions with a "YES!", SmartSteem isn't for you.
We take quality very seriously!
In fact, one of our top support questions is why is account "Whitelisting" taking so long. The answer is simple.
We're a small crew of highly motivated individuals, but analyzing an account and its content takes some time. We take pride in being demanding and whitelisting only people who contribute to the health of the blockchain.
This helps keep abuse at all time lows while skyrocketing meaningful posts to all time highs.
However, due to the huge influx of sign-ups, we have candidates by the hundreds now, which means we will take a bit of time manually reviewing and whitelisting you guys.
Rest assured we aren't "Sleeping on the Job".
So, summing up, you'll find we don't support plagiarists, low effort posters, scammers, spammers and other black hatted individuals.

Might be the tag sex. Bot might be set to auto reject posts with that tag.

I do think, it is important to prevent this kind of bot abuse. Since there are still many people on Steemit who think high post value equals high quality and just snowball upvote, it is necessary to fight spam and promote quality content. Thanks a lot for your effort.

We're living in the instant gratification age, lightning speed wifi, quantum processors, Steemit's 10k transactions per second, it's no surprise that people are wondering why you're taking so long! Fortunately there are still some things that still take the same amount of time . A baby still takes 9 months to be born, it still takes 12 years to complete school, there are still 24 hours in a day. However long it takes to be whitelisted on SmartSteem, then that's how long it takes. Quality can't be rushed and due diligence is preferable to a profit seeking voting service. Well done for sticking to your principles! <3

I've searched far and wide but can't seem to find an answer to 'when' the payouts are received for delegation. Is it every week or month?
Just curious, no complaints on my end. 😀
hey @jongolson, the payouts are daily but only if the threshold of 0.5 STEEM/ 0.5 SBD is breached. :)

of steem to your account. I just wanted to first check to see if this
account engages in flagging of non-spam, or non-plagiarized content?
E.g. idological differences, or if content is perceived to be inaccurate.
P.S. I see flagging as a sort of soft-censorship on the Steemit UI because it can result
in collapsed comments, dithered text, and hidden posts. I can no longer in good
conscience support accounts that make a practice of engaging in that type of activity.
