After yesterdays chaotic meetup at SM Ecoland in Davao City, @chrisrice received news that @nathansenn would be donating HIVE to the official @dbuzz (formerly @steem-ph) account.
This news was unexpected and nothing in any of the prior discussions that @chrisrice had with @nathansenn implied that @nathansenn would donate to #HivePhilippines so this was an unexpected gift to the @dbuzz project, the Hive community here in the Philippines and the Filipino OFWs and immigrants living abroad.
Chris still wasn't sure how much the amount would be but later in the day after getting a little sleep, @jemmanuel messaged him asking if @chrisrice had purchased a bunch of Steem. It turns out that Nathan donated over 8,000 HIVE to @dbuzz and entrusted Chris to use it for the @dbuzz project however he sees fit.
In Nathan's words:
its a donation so you can use it for anything you need for HivePhilippines.com.
That means that our #HivePhilippines account @dbuzz is now a Dolphin!
This definitely builds confidence in the #HivePhilippines community and it shows that people (@nathansenn in this case) are seeing value in the in-person meetups we are holding in Davao City, Philippines
Thank you @nathansenn for giving us the gift of HIVE, we will continue just as we have since the beginning of our meetups 😊

Yes as I told you before you can join my server so we can create all Filipinos channel there. I have a big plan for us Dlike want me to make a group all Filipino community. If you have my discord link that I show you before you are free to join me with your friend folks. I want to show to the dlike that we are here live and kicking. I am waiting all of you there in my discord server.
There is also a chance that we will create a chat feature on our upcoming DAPP instead of using Discord, but I'm happy to log in to your server and meet you and your group.
Another idea is that I could list the Top 3 Discord Servers relating to the Philippines so that there would be more than one Discord Server for the Philippines 😊

oh so now you have 8k SP, ayos.. it's better to make discord server where they can contact you there? By the way are you aware about @steemph also and I think the one who made it is from Manila. But I think that account is not operating now.
In my opinion to make Filipino aware of your existence you should make some contest or any kind of entertainment. If you'll agree that I can make one for you or you can make it yourself. I will be supporting it for sure..

We don't have a Discord server yet but I am planning for that.
The Discord server is probably 3 to 4 months away but we'd likely be partnering with someone elses Discord channel to help unite the various groups in the Philippines 👍🙂
I think @chrismadcboy2016 can help you about that..about partnership in discord
