Yes you read that well, we are already ready for a new Hard Fork 22!
What a hard week... First of all, HF was at 1am local time. Wen't for a midnight run, cooldown & watch the chain transition, everything was smooth for half an hour, so I went for quick shower - I came back the whole chain is frozen. And so on, and so on... 5am getting the dirty fixes running, and waiting for a proper fix (probably replay-needed), went to sleep at 8am. Had a meeting at 10am... It is hard to keep all the things together. :)
so 20.10/20.12 > HF21.0> HF21-overflow fix> HF21.1> HF22 in 2 days because we care about the chain. Thanks steemit team and all the true caretakers from the dark.

Hello Steemians, an issue has been discovered which is preventing delegations from functioning properly. Delegations require an account to have voting mana before it can delegate. This is done to prevent malicious actors from exploiting delegations to obtain more voting mana than an account should have.
Currently, the way the blockchain is checking downvote mana returns false negatives which causes it to “believe” that an account should not be allowed to delegate any Steem Power. The false negative only presents in cases involving accounts with unusually large Steem Power holdings, which is why the behavior was not exposed through testing.
It is fixed and needs to be implemented urgently. HF will set in on Thursday at 11:00 AM EDT (in just about 5 hours). Supermajority of the top20 witnesses is reached with 19/20 currently on chain version 0.22.0 and plenty of back up witnesses. Those witnesses that don't switch in time will keep missing blocks until they switch.

They should just leave delegation inactive and let everybody's SP return to their accounts! Imagine a steem where you could see exactly which accounts owned how much SP and no one could delegate to bidbots. We could spot all the flagrant circle jerks and self vote shit posts a mile away and use our free downvotes on-mass to take them to task. Doesn't this sound a little easier than what we've got now which lets the Bernies, hajins and all the other usual suspects off the hook by convincing us all to get distracted spending our votes on bidbot abusers on trending?

Hard Forks left and right, While most chains take months of practice and knowledge to even deploy 1 HF, STEEM's witnesses are doing two in a row... hopefully this one won't have any bug and will go much more smoothly.
To be honest when they deploy they usually don't break the whole chain. :) But then again we have a very complex chain with lots of users.
Yeah witnesses(we) pulled that one very nice, as well as steemit team to come up with a fixes so fast!
