Objective:

Stay alive and recover the Covid-19 vaccine antidote so you can (hopefully) become human again.
In this game, you must figure out how to open the safe.

Players can see a spreadsheet with their inventory and health here:

Additional twist:

Before each player takes their daily turn, roll a D20 to see if you get any bonus. **Please note** that the bonus must be used during the CURRENT TURN. If you do not specify to which action you wish to apply the bonus, it will be applied to your first action where applicable.

Police turn after the players made their moves:

  • The Rookie from spawn zone 2 notices P2 running out the door and to the north, he moves N and fires his pistol, rolls 6 and hits P2, rolls 2 and misses.
  • The Sergeant chasing P2 moves N,N,E.
  • The Sergeant from spawn zone 1 fires his rifle at P1 and P6, rolls 3,3,6, hitting (rolls 1) P1.
  • Rolls for spawning zones are 4,1 so a Trainee and nothing.

Reminder:

Officer-in-training (T) will carry a batton (bat) = walker.
Rookie officers (R) will carry a pistol = runner.
Sergeants (S) will carry rifles = hulk.
ALL police get 3 actions per turn and can take 3 damage before they die (6 bare-handed hits).
Players respawn but lose their items when they die.

Please use my online tool for determining actions.

  • There is no need to roll twice for searches because the search function already has the roll for finding an item or finding a zombie built into it, so when searching, simply input the number of torches you have (default is zero, so if you have none, you need not enter anything) and click SEARCH to see what you found.
  • If you have a "double damage" that you wish to use with a search, you can add a torch to double the take.

You can also download an HTML file to run your own random number generator,
or get the revised, but more specific (thus less adaptable) version.

Action 1: Move west
Action 2: Take careful aim at the trainee, all I need to do is wing him and watch him fall to the ground (I rolled a 2 so missed), The trainee ducked at the last moment saving his head.
Action 3: I try again, this time I go for the gut shot, so the brains will remain intact. (I rolled a 4). Yes gut shot, brains intact for future food should I need it.

The sarge and his trainee have taken the last train to wherever. I stare in wonder and amazement at all the blood and gore that has been caused by us and I wonder is it so bad being a zombie?

Another walker today so I guess I'll finish it off tomorrow.

You are not having much luck with those searches. It must be very frustrating.
