The holy messengers told Lot: 'Rush! Take your better half and your two girls and leave!' Lot and his family were somewhat moderate in going, thus the blessed messengers took them by the hand and drove them out of the city. At that point one of the blessed messengers stated: 'Keep running for your lives! Try not to think back. Rushed to the slopes, with the goal that you won't be executed.'
Lots and his little girls obeyed and fled from Sodʹom. They didn't stop for a minute, and they didn't think back. Yet, Lot's better half resisted. After they had gone some separation from Sodʹom, she ceased and thought back. At that point Lot's significant other turned into a mainstay of salt.
We can take in a decent lesson from this. It demonstrates to us that God spares the individuals who obey him, yet the individuals who don't obey him will lose their lives.

Alot of us, do the same thing everytime, by disobeying God, the Bible tells us about the grave consequences we will face when we disobey God.
We all should learn from the story of lots wife.

Lot wife showed she cared more about material things that spriritual things. It is really disheartening. This should make us think about ourselves, do I treasure material riches than any other thing in my life? If so, there's still time to change before we turn to a pillar of salt. We cannot value material things over God, it is wrong, the Bible says put God first before any other thing. Obedience is the key to longevity.
Disobedience is something we believers have to shun. The bible made us to understand that ' obedience is better than sacrifice'. Consequences for disobedience can be really drastic! Lot's wife pointed that out.

The fundamental law for worshipping God is obedience, so anyone who disobey God means he is a friend of the devil and as a property of the devil always he sees to it that suffering will always be your part.

Obedience in the bible was primarily stated as a function of longevity. being obedient elevates one into a place of good tidings only when it of God's will. Obey your father and mother and your days shall be long.
