Good day to you all my fellow steemians. I'm bringing to you the proposal of my new project - STEEM SKILL ACQUISITION TRAINING (SSAT).
As we all know that I have been involved in many projects most of which are charities. You can read about my latest charity program here. We are stepping up the game to skill acquisition training.
Skill acquisition training is a training where one can learn and acquire a new skill.
Why Skill Acquisition Training
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime

It is better to teach a man how to fish than to give him a fish. That is the aim of this skill acquisition training project. Going about doing charity and giving people food and other materials will not be enough, we need to teach the how get food and other materials themselves.
I live in Nigeria where the youth unemployment rate is more than 33% and the rate of poverty is more than 60%. Something has to be done as a matter of urgency but unfortunately our Government is doing next to nothing about youth empowerment and poverty eradication.
Thank God for steemit. Steemit and Steem blockchain is the greatest thing to happen to the world right now. Just some hours ago @sirknight dropped a post introducing steemchurch farm and he said "Steem will feed the word". You can read up his post here
Now I'm saying STEEM WILL ERADICATE UNEMPLOYMENT
How will this skill acquisition training benefit the society
- It will help the youth to be creative and innovative in identifying business opportunities
- It will aid the growth and development of our economy
- It will help the youth to be self reliant
- It will help to eradicate poverty
- It will create jobs for the unemployed youths
- It will create many employer of labour
- It will reduce the crime rate in the country
- It will help to provide products and services to the community
These are just few of the benefits that the training will bring to the community. It is also important to note that this training will create more awareness about steemit. As many people will get to know and be empowered with Steemit through this training.
What skills to be acquired
Through the project, different type of skills will be trained Which include
Interior and exterior decoration
Cake baking
Recharge card printing
Poultry and fishery
Satellite dish installation
Paint production
Soap production
Gele and makeup
Shoe making
ICT
Fashion designing
Cinematography
Etc......
Modalities of training
Steem skill acquisition training is for everybody both steemians and non-steemians.
As I said earlier, different type of skills will be trained but all cannot be training at once. We are going to take it one or two at a time. In my next post, I will tell more on which training(s) to come first, date and venue. I will also explain how to register for the training.
The training will be continuous and maybe we will fix a parmanent training days and time.
The plan is to be holding the training in all states of the federation but we will start with Abuja (the federal capital) for now.
Everybody that is successfully trained will be awarded a certificate of training. Both the training and the certificate will be free of charge.
Hopefully, there will be live streaming where people that are interested in the training but cannot be there will also have chance to be part of the training.
Funding
As I said the training and the certificate are going to be free. Steem skill acquisition training is going to be funded with STEEM and @sirknight the founder of our great parish, @steemchurch has promise his full support for the project. In fact, he inspired the project.
I want to specially thank @sirknight, the founder of our great parish - @steemchurch for the inspiration and support for this project and for always making effort to make this world a better place.
I also want to commend all members of the parish for their commitment to the parish.

That is a great initiative. Some of those skills can be applicable everywhere. I applaud those who do livelihood training especially those who were not able to attend school or did not finish school and can't be employed. At least with proper skill training they can fulfill their passions and maybe be employed or even start business.
Yes, we are looking at them starting there business and even be an employer of labour
This would really be helpful to us youth. We need to be creative in things and help us grow individually.

Good, be sure you are going to get the skill with this project. Just follow the progress and keep yourself updated
A portion of those abilities can be appropriate all over the place. I praise the individuals who do job preparing particularly the individuals who were not ready to go to class or did not complete school and can't be utilized. In any event with legitimate expertise preparing they can satisfy their interests and possibly be utilized or even begin business.
