Thanks for sharing this. Obedience and disobedience are like two distinct roads. One of the roads leads to a place that is beneficial, while the other leads to a sad place. There's a reward when we obey God willingly and not begrudgingly.
Obedience is the practical acceptance of the authority and will of God. It includes both submitting to Him and then expressing that submission in actions, words and thoughts. To be obedient is to be in agreement with God. To be in agreement with God is to be in a position of power in Christ.
Disobedience is caused by rebellion and distrust of God. To be disobedient is to yield to self-will instead of surrendering to God and desiring His will in all things.
In Isaiah 1 verse 19, "If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land"
The Book Of John chapter 14 vs 15 also speaks about obedience;
"If you love me, you will obey what I command....Whoever has my commands, and obeys them he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him"

Obedience and disobedience are abstract, their blessings and consequences are rather uncanny, Samuel in the bible obeyed the word if God and he was bountifully blessed, on The other hand, Saul the king of Israel disobeyed The words of God, and he was stripped of kingship.
There is a huge difference and for our Christian journey, we need to be obedient to enjoy God's bountiful favours

Let us understand how much of a difference do these words mean. It sure leads to different places. Obeying God has the greatest form of blessing. He's our father and we ought to obey.
God requires obedience from us just to do whatever he wants from us from the story of saul we should learn that obedience is far better than giving a sacrifice.
The Bible make us to understad that obedience is better than sacrifice and prayer is always the key.
When you say you love someone, you will want to please the person, same way it goes for God,obeying his commands pleasing him by listening to his every word.

The original language of If you love me you will keep my commandments. Is more like if you love me you will be able to keep His commands! His love first for us! He loved us first, then our response is to love Him back! Many have not experienced the love of God. Some have but not in all areas!
But when one truly experiences the love of God, this person is truly satisfied. Then it becomes a joy to keep God’s commands out of love for Him!

Disobedience is the first sin committed.
It is bad to be disobedient, it always has a consequence which is always great.
Obedience is an attitude that we have to learn to accept. It is not a quality that we acquire automatically when we become Christians. Happily, the Bible gives us clear instructions as to how to obey God, and the Lord Jesus gave us a perfect example of submission to the Father.
