The original language of If you love me you will keep my commandments. Is more like if you love me you will be able to keep His commands! His love first for us! He loved us first, then our response is to love Him back! Many have not experienced the love of God. Some have but not in all areas!
But when one truly experiences the love of God, this person is truly satisfied. Then it becomes a joy to keep God’s commands out of love for Him!
