People are busy doing a lot of administrative works in places of assembly called 'church'
Others are busy serving the general overseers, their wives, (Mummy Overseers) in menial duties and chores and at the end of the day, it is assumed as the work of God!
In a particular case, a friend of mine joined a church to be trained as full time Pastor under a General Overseas(G.O). After several interviews and tests, he is admitted as pastor-in- training for the next (9) months. He is attached to Mummy G.O to go to the market, laundry, attend to mummy's car with the mechanics, follow her as an aid de camp to everywhere carrying her bag, and must be humble in those activities to be approved as one of the Pastors in the ministry.
He resumes in the church office by 0600hrs and closes earliest 2200hrs before he joins transport to go home to his family. He works Sunday to Sunday!
Is this the commitment to the work of God?
What then is the work of God if serving the overseer and his wife, (Men of God) is not?
What is the work of God if staying in church doing physical jobs and attending service from Sunday to Sunday is not?
(Mondays - Bible Study,
Tuesdays - Deliverance Service,
Wednesday - Midweek Service,
Thursdays - Workers Revival hour,
Fridays - Prayer Meetings,
Saturdays - Workers meeting, Evangelism and Choir practice.
Sundays - Four Services that must be attended by all workers compulsorily starting with prayers by 6.00am and the 4th service closes by 2.00pm. Worker's closing prayers - 3.30pm.
If these activities are not the work of God, what then is?
There are two types of Priests in the temple: Those that minister unto the people and those that have the charge to minister unto God! Check Ezekiel. 44:10-16.
The disciples asked Jesus, what is this work of God so we can do it?
Listen to Jesus."[[Joh 6:28-29]] KJV Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."
What should we believe?
John 13:34 "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."
How do we do this? How do we love one another?
Matthew 25:31-46 NLT
"But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne.
All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the SHEEP from the goats.
He will place the SHEEP at his right hand and the GOATS at his left. "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'COME, YOU WHO ARE BLESSED BY MY FATHER,INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU FROM THE CREATION OF THE WORLD.

For I was hungry, and you didn't feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn't give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn't invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn't give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn't visit me.'
"Then they will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?' "And he will answer, 'I tell you the truth, WHEN YOU REFUSED TO HELPTHE LEAST OF THESE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, YOU WERE REFUSING TO HELP ME.'
"And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life."
Let us repent or resurrect from religion and doctrines of men and do the works of God.
Faith without work is DEAD!

Most times we engage our selves with the activities in the church and think we are doing the work of God, we run errands, or even clean the pastor's sit thinking it is the work of God. Yes there are blessings for those things but that does not mean we are righteous. Know one thing, the kingdom of God works in principles and if you don't walk in that principles, of a truth you call him in vain. Thanks for this great word @rabiuaudu

Activities in church doesn't necessarily mean the work of God. It's a heart thing- the intent of your heart. Do you do those activities to please men or as unto God?
