I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit. Let me make it clear here that you can only be pruned according to your own special assignment or your call! Therefore, your pruning is different from mine.
Many times, for God to make us qualified to bring the kinds of fruit desired by Him, He takes time to cut us to size, limit us in a way that will glorify Him, train us and restrict(withhold) us from our normal self!
There is no bearing more fruit without trimming us! Again, as we bear fruit, we cannot improve to bear more and excellent fruit without more trimming!
The blade that is used to trim us may be so painful, very unmerciful; but it is needed.
Some of the prunnig can be in character, or finances, or even in church life!
Whichever way it comes, one thing is sure. God does not do wrong.
He is a righteous and merciful judge.
God never lies, He will make us to bear more fruit! He never fails, He is ever faithful to His promises.
Determine to follow Him through because He knows the end from the beginning.
