A Quick Steem-Roller Development Update
Development continues forward this evening on project Steem-Roller! Working on the final polishing of the GUI which includes numerous style sheet modifications aimed towards fixing the display of the site on smaller screens such as iPads or mobile devices. The site also seems to scale far better while applying in browser zoom for the visually impaired or those preferring larger buttons and text displays. All and all I'd say the GUI fixing is going quite well I must say! Still some pesky rounding errors to try to fix however, the way javascript handles numbers makes displaying a number to 3 decimal places quite a pain in the ass.
Site now displays OK on mobile devices as long as you set your mobile browser to display desktop version. So far the GUI polishing is being tested on Win10 Google Chrome, Win10 Firefox, Win10 Internet Explorer / Edge and a Android Nexus 5 mobile phone. The ridiculous difference in how web browsers display elements of the site certainly make it a challenge to get the site to production ready.. with that said I've got it to the point it works fine with the browsers listed above. After a fair amount of work getting cross browser to work.
The Important Parts Are Completed!
While still working on a few parts to make the site production / launch ready and bug free I can safely say that the site is basically 98% completed at this point. For a v1.0.0 release it will suffice once the remaining kinks are worked out and everything is functioning as intended. With this being said we're just about ready to move into a "wet" closed beta testing phase which will allow users to invest and play with STEEM at their own risk for those who've shown interest in helping out with the bug testing. The hope is that we will discover bugs and glitches during this time that can be fixed. It's advised that only small amounts of STEEM are deposited, invested or played during closed beta testing due to the potential of the service being unstable and possibly still containing bugs.
Besides a few minor moderator / admin functions in the trollbox the site is complete. A few functions still need a minor polishing on the bits and a few minor GUI rounding display still need corrected but functionally we're good to go me thinks.
Seeking Funds to Purchase Hosting and TLD
Before the closed beta testing can begin a small amount of funding is required to get a server to host the project on as well as to purchase the TLD to point to said server. In order to raise the money required for this I'm offering sponsors that donate more than $5 SBD a custom trollbox UID number "flair" that will be used in the chat/trollbox beside every message. The TLD ( or website address for laymen ) costs around $10 or so and hosting can cost around that as well but will likely be more. Hopefully a handful of folks are interested in custom trollbox UID number and I can get the site live for beta testing. Without a bit of funding I won't be able to get hosting to start closed beta testing sadly.
Once I've got enough funding to get a small test server going I'll contact those involved in the closed beta testing to come join. If you're interested in joining the closed beta test or sponsoring the service start let me know!

I can't wait for you to complete this project. Steemian funded betting site seems like a good idea. In the exisiting ones I have no idea who gets my failed rolls.

Project is basically ready to start closed beta testing. Pretty excited for this. Just need to get some funds to rent a server and get a .com for it. :)
